dannythe only reason you are crying about entropy but not about sultry is because sultry was made to be "league ready" when it was added to rgl and they essentially did what you are supposed to be doing with entropy

this is the scout speed debate all over again where people want everything to be "tested" everywhere but outside of the one place where the most valuable feedback would come from, just use the season to test it instead, if it can be molded into a great map, sick, if the progress isnt promising just remove it next season, whats the problem?

it wasn't as bad if they only added entropy, or only added sultry, but adding multiple maps in one season seems too drastic, bagel was added and everything is fine, even if not everyone likes it at least it was only one map at a time.
adding multiple maps in a single season especially before a lan is definitely not the way.

TobI feel it was banned because of how players were "supposed" to use it had it remained.
It wasn't about it being used full-time. It was about how teams would have to play if they wanted to do things optimally

Playing in EU with the vaccinator and quickiebombs resulted in the following scenarios:

Teams would wipe on mid, respawn with vaccinator on last with full disad, and still get vaccinator ubers. A direct upgrade when the other choice is 30% uber when they use into you
Quickiebombs were often better when pushing last. You'd prefire a door/shutter to clear stickies so it'd be safe to milk longer and then you'd shoot a sticky on point

Having a medic be comfortable with vaccinator switches would save you a couple lost rounds throughout a season. And if you were preparing a last push you should consider switching to quickies first. TF2 players figured out these meta shifts quite quickly tbh. But very few people actually wanted to do this because it felt like shit to do so. So most didn't and chose to play "sub-optimally"

Also, switching loadouts is clunky. It's a pain to do so even with binds or the quickswitch menu.
In case of quickiebombs it requires someone to die to switch (you probably play stock stickies for mid still)
Switch to loadout, remember to switch back next life.

vaccinator was cancer on every last defense, as doughy said quickies were only abused in badlands and sometimes in gully as well.
and I rather have a weapon that helps you push last than a weapon that makes defending last easier.
there's a reason nobody ever complained about the vaccinator getting banned

anyone caught cheating in official matches/scrims/mixes/pugs should get instantly perma banned (etf2l admins did state that perma bans can overturned with "good behavior" and time.)
2 years for cheating in a pub, mge or getting vac'd sounds about right.

wax5600 is great (upgraded from 1600) but not sure how much of a diff you'd see coming from a 3600. FPS is around 300 in 6s and a little less than that in pubs

I went from a 3700x to a 5800x and trust me it was worth it for supporting 240 fps in most situations.
zen 2 just can't support 240 fps in all scenarios, even in 6s.

I have a ryzen 5800x and I get 300+ frames on mid, if you're on a budget a 5600x will still be a nice improvement over the ryzen 5 3600 for source games like tf2.

HildrethAlso whilst we're on the subject of ETF2L, can we revise the off-class rule, it is a very bizarre rule to see players banned from playing Engineer in Mid in 6v6 because they played Prem HL. Maybe make the point system more flexible for non-cookie cutter classes, then that way actual Open/Low players won't be sandbagged still but Div 2 HL players can still enjoy Sniping or playing Engi/Pyro/Pootis/Spy in Mid in 6v6. I complained pre-season about the rule and there was no real satisfactory response, I kind of gave up because at the end of the day majority of the League admins are Open/Low 6v6 players unwilling to acknowledge the logic that a Prem HL Engineer in 6s in Mid is not an unfair edge.

That admin team could do with a few Higher level players on it in my opinion.

if we are discussing rules, one of the fresh meat challenge rules is a bit unclear

"Played in ETF2L Open playoffs or above.This does not include cups.'"
I thought it meant that if a player who's on a team played open playoffs would not be able to play, but apparently it also includes a player who had 0 officials up until he was asked to merc in open grand finals, other than that he only played in regional pickups and didn't play on any teams.
seems unfair to exclude someone who only merced in one playoff game because the team he merced for was missing a player.

#2 Ragdolls don't have any cosmetics in demos in Q/A Help

this issue occurred after the vscript update with several other demo playback related issues.
newer demos are unaffected while pre vscript are.
the only "solution" I found is to download an older client of tf2.
