Dying in DM does not matter, it's instant spawn anyways. I prefer random spawns and sometimes dying by spawning right in front of someone, instead of DM turning into attack defense with fixed spawns, when there's a stronger side and it ends up with the other side just raping the other in their spawn area on most maps.
The mode is for practicing aim & random spawns offer way more action as well.

Does anyone know the person in charge of the DM servers? I'm pretty sure someone here on TFTV was managing them.
STOGEPuoskariNow that we're at this again, is it possible by any means to make the spawns in dm random on each side again? Especially on viaduct you have fun time when one team dominates the other one and it's just all the fighting happening in the other teams' spawn area.
Yes please,
as much as I like badlands dm, the team with the better dm will usually just end up sitting on the opposing teams train, keeping them in their spawn until they can push out which isn't very fun or easy to do when people are all spawning at different times in the same location, not communicating etc. Happens on many maps but it's always been most noticeable on badlands for me.
Having the spawns random, would be a better test of dm for both teams, in the same case where for example a soldier is on the opposing teams train, instead of just worrying about house and choke, he can now be jumped at from multiple different areas, meaning he can't just hit a pre-determined airshot. It'll be a reaction, which is better for training in my opinion. Same with scouts, they can't look a direction and expect the fight to come from there, it can come from any direction.
This can relate to actual game scenarios too, like if someones behind and people are unaware.
Exactly & there ends up being a solly camping at the house pack as well, so you'd actually have to run through resupp to get to push out fairly and that's just ridiculous.

Conkysv_allow_point_servercommand always
This is not the thing about bots not spawning, it's about the offline server's/bot maps' settings fucking up after I join any server. Meaning I do have that command there already.
Viperholy shit, i thought we had a thread with that command stickied
if not, get on that
edit: answered to the wrong one. In case you actually are talking about a thread with a command I'm looking for, tell me if you remember it I've no clue how to search for it.
Is there a command or something I can do to reset the offline server settings? It's really frustrating when say you go play tr_newbots, there is only 1 bot as it should be. Now whenever you join a pub or something, and then go back to the offline server it's going to have 2 or 3 bots and only way to fix it that i know is to restart the game, which blows to do every single time. So is there any command or such to get the server/bot map settings back to normal other than restarting the game?
If Valve gets excited enough with the competitive TF2 and want to make it fair for all, as we've seen forcing viewmodels & normal/good graphics on matchmaking, they might eventually do the same thing as in cs:go, that they force the Nvidia Inspector's lod bias-setting back to default at launch. Hopefully not.
springrollsOH SHIT I TOTALLY SAID I'D UPDATE IT EARLIER AND THEN I WENT AND TOTALLY FORGOT
THIS IS REALLY LATE I AM SO SORRY

Greyed out? Could you post an image of it, also which version of Nvidia Inspector do you have?
Back when I was getting used to tracking I used tr_aim(the bot on the right) and forced myself to track the bot with both scatter and pistol, but I recommend using scatter more as with pistol tracking comes pretty naturally, but practicing scatter tracking is what you want to do. It can be helpful to practice tracking as sniper as well, helped me.
Sensitivity doesn't matter with tracking, or in fact with anything, it's all just a personal preference(however in general I'd recommend something between 20-38cm/360 as each end might cause trouble tracking in certain ranges) find a comfy one.
