elmaxoThe situation with clockwork displays to me his absolute insistence on victory. Ignoring the potential awkwardness of a relationship like that because clockwork was his best chance at picking up championships is, to me at least, pretty indicative of his victory at all costs mindset towards the game.
Trashtalk/Twitter stuff is also important in unpacking his personality with other high level players. I think most people would agree that he has a very big ego when it comes to competitive TF2 and I want to make sure I don't miss any key examples of him feuding with other people in my analysis of his character.
Although I see where you're coming from with the character analysis, treading very lightly on these events would be the only way to do so without harming the scene. unfortunately doing that itself seems unlikely when you consider that mentioning them will almost certainly lead to a non-competitive fanbase reigniting old drama, and breathing notoriety into b4nny's name. That's a horrible thing when you consider how integral he is to NA invite
Why would talking about b4nny's beef on Twitter / past trashtalk and how clockwork dated his ex "[represent comp TF2] to a wider audience"?
Med would have to be Roosevelt. big team player in my mind, and you just CAN'T KILL HIM!
Demo is Grant because nobody knows how he does that shit with so much scrumpy in his blood
Pocket is Obama because he does the same job as the roamer + plays a little closer to the team
Roamer would definitely be Clinton because he's a good bomber (I put a Serbian flag here but it somehow broke TFTV and cut off the rest of the post. MODS???)
Pocket scout is Bush Jr. because he got massively buffed from 9/11
Flank scout is Nixon for the same reasons eddie mentioned
agreed. The last pocket guide with any worth I've found is now turning 9 years old in a week, and many parts have naturally aged like milk with things like the scout buff... it's just sad; that emptiness is kiling the scene
J_4rb1RAONICALIASyttriumAgain, just tell me what you want disabled and I'll make VPKs for you. It takes like, a single minute of my time.
6 years ago, not sure if you'll still do this, but could I please request someone to send me a VPK with everything but melee weapons and non-weapons (e.g., the sapper and jarate) disabled? I'll give you a craft hat

rando. I'm going to MGE him on spire
The leaks are spreading like wildfire, to the degree that the TF wiki mods are stepping in with a reminder. Rumours say McVicker is already working on a video due for tomorrow
Thoughts? Lots of stuff coming round - models for item icons, .dmx files for SFMs, etc.

FULL LEAK
Points of interest:
- the Payload version of Badlands, which has tracks that run through mid to valley to bridge (spire is still there, oddly)
- the original version of Powerhouse, which doesn't have the highground area on last
- cp_dustbowl2(?!) which has a castle-like fort leading up to B - in-game pics here
- plr_pinecrest

littlekoalaHaving the same issue here, also tried everything that you mentioned, rolling back nvidia drivers didn't help, i think it may have something to do with some related packages.
thanks for the heads up! I think the issue might be something related to TF2's low-level graphics, in that case, because of how OP's game instantly crashed after trying to change sens. Might be a good idea to try using different SDL2 versions
Soldieryes, i am using nvidia drivers, currently version 525.78.01.
That driver version was released just 4 days ago (January 5th) - not quite a week ago, like your original post mentions. If you're memory is just being hazy then it could still possibly be a driver issue. I had a look at that version
's changelog, and there are some Vulkan-related changes, but they don't seem to be anything game-breaking. If you really can't roll-back your driver version and think this is driver-related, then you might have to hang in there and wait for a new, hopefully functioning version to come out
SoldierRAONICALIASthe causes all sound really random, but one thing that struck me was the fact that the game crashed while changing your sens. Are you on Wayland by any chance? It might be possible that libSDL2 has some issues setting the sens on Wayland, so the game thus crashes. if you are on Wayland, try using this envvar to run TF2's SDL2 stuff in a Xorg server (Xwayland):SDL_VIDEODRIVER=x11
i'm using x11. i've literally tried everything down to removing config commands one by one and nothing has resolved this issue. i'm surprised it isn't more widely being recognized, because it seems more like a hardcoded issue with the game at this point
if that's the case I'm going to take another shot in the dark and ask if you're using NVIDIA. might be a driver problem - I have a Radeon and don't have this issue, but it'd make sense if Source games worked well on Windows and poorly on Linux, then
