H3dge is such a great person and IMO made some huge strides this season. When we scrim vs hedge I can expect to die to his traps more than anyone I play vs. he’s honestly committing for them so well. Sometimes he still gets caught out for his trap but that happens far less now and I imagine by next season it will stop happening entirely. Hedge is improving so fast and is already so good. Could play for a top IM team or invite. Great friend. Give tryout.

so fucking nice, good on any class and will have 15 ping? no brainer
tojo is a cool dude. I got to hang out with him at lan. Idk what is going on with him being irritable or toxic, I've never had that experience with tojo. and after hanging out with him a decent amount I can say wholeheartedly that he isnt like that. He has nothing but good things to say about people. So when tojo says that he was dealing with irl shit outside of tf2 I dont doubt it for a second bc he genuinely isnt that guy. Good roamer. tryout
I'd like to play roamer in invite or scout in anything else.
The final boss of 60hz. what a god. great friend, great teammate. see you in the inevitable EVIL reform for s29. Give him a good home if that doesnt happen. Best teammate ive ever had
I love marquis. He really shouldnt play open demo though. He could honestly play for a mid IM team on demo and if he took the season to learn it I dont see why he couldnt be High IM by season 30. He farms in pretty good pugs on demo. Big pounder, nice guy. gl buddy
Alexandrosgg EVIL
gg buddy, you played a great game
ReflectoSoldier fucking sucks. I love the class but scouts, demos, and meds are so good that soldiers just become accessories on their teams at higher levels. I see all the time teams opting for worse roamers bc they are good friends and even though the player might be below the skill level of the team it doesn't matter bc there is only so much damage a bad roamer can do (and only so much good a good roamer can do). And it fucking blows when i see these great scouts meds and demos get opportunities to play for great teams based on of their individual merit because of how impactful their classes are. And a lot of roaming at a high level is coordinating with your team and you're team being able to follow you up and less about your individual skill. Im not saying that I'm not getting a fair shake or people are stealing spots i should have bc i don't feel like that but when I look at high invite i just have no fucking clue how you get there without being in their friend group. I wish I put all my time into another class and I'm too pussy to try to learn something from the start again.
tl;dr: im starting to feel the limitations of soldier/roamer in the current meta and it sucks long dick
I was wrong. Corsa was right. I just wanted to say that for anyone that is thinking like I did. I didn't see the way it really works until recently.
don’t worry about me. I just retarded

what hud is this?
what hud is this https://i.imgur.com/hsuR6lJ.jpg
With the HUD Contest coming to a close it is time to announce the winner. Without any further ado the winner of the HUD contest is uwu. The majority of us felt that uwui was the best looking hud of the bunch. The fonts and colors that he used were fresh and appealing. The scoreboard and damage numbers were great. All in all everything was very well rounded.
This contest really could have been won by anyone. Colly's hud had unique hud elements like the capture bars and specui that were very unique takes on those elements. Solar light did exactly what he set out to do in making an incredible summer themed hud with incredibly bright and eye catching menus. Jahud had great fonts and I think we all enjoyed his take on the ammo in reserve being under the ammo in clip. Omni also came in with strong fonts, menus and fantastic targetui.
Again, this could have gone to anyone. We deliberated over these huds for quite some time. It was not an easy decision. Hopefully we can take your feedback and use it when we do this again in the future with hopefully the incentive of more money and you guys will definitely get more time. Thanks so much to everyone for participating. Congratulations uwu, please add me so we can get you this money :P
This part is particularly bugging me as someone who's waiting for the huds to be submitted. The entire process and time length really makes it that all of the huds are going to hit on late June 9th or June 10th. As the timespan really doesn't allow for sufficient time to make, test and polish a complete hud (that works in 4:3 , 16:10 and 16:9) and none of the people who are interested in this don't really get to see the development of the hud or try it out before the deadline. Wouldn't it be just as good as having people who are working on huds just post a github link or similar and then pulling all the huds at a specific time on June 10th?
Next time would you like us to ask them to post their github to the thread so you can see the progress? I could maybe see giving them the option but idk if that should be mandatory,
Posting here to bump this thread as a reminder of the upcoming June 10th deadline.
To the people who are participating in the hud challenge, what do you guys think?
Was this enough time?
Would you like to see payouts for people in 2nd & 3rd in the future?
Is this something you would do again?
