hooliwhenever their med spawns or fades hit tab and look at the server time and add 20 to the seconds. they will have uber the next time there are that many seconds.
ex.
med spawns at 10:32
32+20=52
the med will have uber at 9:52 the earliest
I can add 20s to 30s because I know that 5 + 3 = 8, but if I have to add 20s to 55s and have to think about the sum rolling over into the next minute--but wait I'm supposed to subtract a minute--but I'm in the next minute now--I can't get my brain to work fast enough. I know this is objectively simple, I just cannot do it quickly. I probably could if I had a pencil and paper to write it down and look at it for a bit.
hoolifor the 50's just replace 5 with 1
for the 40's just remove the 4
I don't know what this means
hooliI don't think something like dyscalculia which is, most likely, self diagnosed should prevent someone from being able to add 20 to a 2 digit number especially if they are able to perform the much more arithmetically difficult task outlined above.
Self-diagnosis isn't always a Tumblr meme. Getting professionally diagnosed usually isn't trivial or inexpensive, and can even affect your likelihood of being employed (even if it's not supposed to lol). AFABs are also historically underdiagnosed. I don't really want to dump my personal info to justify myself to you, but I never graduated because I couldn't pass algebra. I held back tears during every math test, and my physics teacher told me after five attempts to explain a problem to me that he "didn't know how to help me" and gave up. I lost my job as a cashier in part because I couldn't handle actual money; I'd lose count every time I tried to give someone change, and customers had to help me do the math for them. I would be more shocked if I didn't have dyscalculia.
I tried to do the whole +15s -60s thing I mentioned earlier during a game and found that I just couldn't do it fast enough, especially with the whole rest of the game going on. If I'm not counting on my fingers for small sums, I'm still visualizing the side of a die in my head and counting the dots on it, which doesn't work for fast math in fast-paced games/while multitasking.
