the argument against wobbling is that all other infinites in the game are worked around in some way, aside from the transformations on pokemon (which some people want banned, but thats an entirely different conversation in itself) - a majority of other stages that you can exploit infinites on are banned for obvious reasons. the followup is that ice climbers can still be viable without them via cg's, removing the character diversity bullshit bit or whatever, niggas are still gonna play ics

like i said, you literally said that in tournaments where wobbling was banned ic players have pretty similar results, and some ic players dont even wobble, literally stating that ic's are still viable without the infinite, removing that part of the argument entirely

again u dont play melee so theres no point in really saying anything at this point, but reading di and techs in pretty much every punish game of every top tier character in melee is vastly different than wobbling, which is something anyone who plays will know

literally there has never been a time where high level ic players are not threats at nationals, at any stage of the games history. its almost a staple of crew battles to include as many ic players on your team (see the genesis 2 ec v wc crew battle)
