Fallout 4 is coming out in a few days. I'm concerned about the dialogue wheel. I remember when I was playing through Mass Effect I thought that it would be so much better if there was a game with Fallout mechanics and dialogue in the Mass Effect universe, so it's disappointing to see it go the opposite direction. On the other hand I've heard the shooting is improved, so we'll see. New power armor seems cool too. Not going to be a day 1 purchase for me, I'm waiting for the first big sale after there's a reasonable amount of mods out.

Gemmellnessi feel like there's some context missing as to why there's a pumpkin cannon there in the first place
A lot of the corn mazes (large corn fields with paths cut out of them for people to travel through)I used to go to had pumpkin cannons you could fire. They're so much fun.
yttriumMapleBoth? Optimus?toothTry upgrading or, if there isn't an update available, downgrading your Intel HD Graphics drivers.I've upgraded and downgraded drivers on both my graphics cards. The weird thing is that my computer will randomly start with full brightness, but this has happened only twice out of the last 20ish reboots in the last few days.

Have you tried disabling one or the other in the BIOS?
Unfortunately my BIOS gives no options for disabling or even touching anything related to graphics. I could be doing it wrong as it's been a while since I've monkeyed with my BIOS but I don't believe so.
cirloI installed win10 yestarday and i had your same problem. I fixed it by installing the right driver video and and disabling windows to automatically update it (because it kept installing the wrong one).
While I was searching on the net for solution i've also found something that might work for you:
-Go to Start Menu > Search and type Device Manager
-Then launch the Device Manager app and navigate to the Display adapters section
-Just expand this option and right-click on the installed display driver
-Then select Update Driver Software from the ensuing context menu
-Select Search automatically for updated driver software in the resulting interface menu
What I ended up doing is forcing my computer to run the Basic Adapter, which brought the brightness to full, and then setting it back to the most updated driver. Manually selecting a driver before doing this would do nothing, it only would work after I ran through that whole process. I have to do this every time I turn on my computer though.
BonafideI used to have a friend who went he lost his official his mom would get mad at him and tell him he should practise harder, she was usually watching him play from behind in the games as well. Gamer moms are a thing now.
I played a scrim on my laptop at my parent's house once and my mom stood behind me randomly yelling out comms that she heard. It was funny (she has 0 experience with any games outside of arcades) but a little difficult to focus.
DAS44-protodo those people still existThe current chairman of the US Senate's Committee on Environment and Public Works is one of them. He brought a snowball and chucked it on the floor as his evidence that global warming is a myth.
“In case we have forgotten, because we keep hearing that 2014 has been the warmest year on record, I ask the chair, you know what this is? It’s a snowball. And that’s just from outside here. So it’s very, very cold out.” - Jim Inhofe
I repeat, this man is the chairman of the Senate's Environment and Public Works Committee... and his argument against the reality of global warming is roughly similar to saying global hunger doesn't exist because he just had lunch.
If it makes you feel better a shitton of the politicians who say they don't believe in anthropogenic climate change actually do believe it exists, they just can't admit it because their constituents don't believe it exists. That's why a lot of their arguments sound retarded, because they don't really believe in them. Not sure if that makes it better or worse.
Best of luck to those in effected regions.
I think RPS was trying to say the scariest parts of the game were related to its philosophy, they probably meant the sheer unpredictability of the game and not so much any individual element. RPS tends to approach games like that I've noticed. That being said I installed a mod that gives bloodsuckers free reign across the map and I nearly shit my pants more than I'd like.

ShunUpdate more drivers, like any samsung ones you can see on their site.
I've tried installing all of the relevant Samsung drivers I could find but no luck.
Since I've updated to Windows 10 my screen brightness is permanently stuck around what I'd guess is the 30% mark. I've disabled the dynamic lighting system 4 separate ways, I've checked all the relevant power settings, the laptop says it's running at full brightness but it obviously isn't. Last night I was able to fix it by updating the drivers on my graphics cards, but when I turned the laptop on this morning the problem came back. I've exhausted all the fixes that I've seen other people use, so if someone could give me a hand I'd appreciate it.
The laptop's a Samsung ATIV Book 9 and I'm running Windows 10 (obviously).
From a guide to helping (pub) engineers on your team:
komorebiAs for predictions I think it will be the Dodgers v Cubs in the NL with the Cubs advancing to WS while I see it being Blue Jays v Royals in the AL, with the BJs advancing. I could see either team taking it at that point but I gotta go with the cubbies. Hard to predict when there are three Game 5s in the next two days though! Should be great ball regardless.
If the Dodgers go out to the Mets, what do you think the chances of Mattingly surviving for another season are? Matt Williams was cut after not making playoffs, I wonder when/if the Dodgers' management is going to decide that just making playoffs isn't enough.
CondescendingCandlestickI wish they would have brought up the general election polls where Hillary gets smashed by every republican and Bernie statistically ties them.
uhhh I'm not really sure where you're seeing that.
It's irrelevant though because polls are shit, and general election polls a full year before the actual election are always going to be utterly retarded. People like Biden always poll really high until they enter the race (you'll remember Clinton polled super high before actually starting her run) and then crash once they have to start campaigning. Polls are useful for following trends and if you're looking at polls a month or two before an election that can be all right but for the most part individual polls dumb as fuck if you're hoping for concrete information on match-ups. Like 3 months ago Scott Walker was the only person beating Clinton in the general. And around now 4 years ago polls were showing Santorum as having the best chance to beat Obama or something dumb like that. We saw how that worked out.
This is far from the worst I've seen but these types of questions just blow my fucking mind.
What are they expecting? You open your fucking mouth and talk like a normal person. There's no special breakfast cereal you can eat that makes words flow out of your mouth like diarrhea. If you're shy, just sack up and deal with it because no one cares.
I see so many of these questions. How do I hit shots as scout? How do I dodge as scout? How do I know whether I should use my shotgun or flares? How do I not drop? All these questions have been on the front page in the last couple of weeks.
I just don't understand how people make these things so complicated. I refuse to believe that someone doesn't know that in order to not drop, you right click before you die. If these were questions with specifics ("I drop a lot when I'm being bombed by a roamer, should I be surfing towards my team or do x, y, or z?") that'd be one thing but none of these questions ever are. They just ask the same exact, incredibly general questions that have each been posted dozens of times. I don't buy that people genuinely want answers to these questions, I would think that if you cared enough to post a question you would care enough to actually search out the information (using the fucking search bar that gives plenty of results), but maybe I'm just a crazy person.
SmesiI've been thinking of joining an iron team for months now and i still don't know if i'm ready for comp.
In terms of me knowing the meta, the basics and what should i do,i'm ready.
But still,i'm not really sure if i have the skill to play comp at a decent level.
I mostly play in valve servers and most of the time i top score and i'm on top of the table, but of course, the point system is not really the greatest.
I've been playing Newbie Mixes these last few weeks and i'm pretty at them, but again, most players there are somewhat new (I'm not saying that're bad,but new).
So,How do i know if i'm "comp worthy"?
Do you enjoy playing TF2? Are you interested in comp? If yes, then you're ready for Iron in whatever format you want. You might not be the greatest, you might be losing the majority of your games, but you'll never get better at competitive TF2 without actually playing competitive TF2.
