#3 Looking for S4-8 VODs and Demos in Q/A Help
aim-the meta has evolved my child

That's exactly why I'm looking for older matches, I've spent the last few months trying to write little articles on how and why the meta's evolved on various maps (gully, blands, gran) but I haven't been happy with any of my drafts so I'm going back to the drawing board.

#1 Looking for S4-8 VODs and Demos in Q/A Help

I've been trying to watch matches from ESEA S4-8, and I'm having difficulties. Outside of the old extv and MGE casts and the x6 demos from S8, I haven't been able to find anything else of use. I realize that older demos might not be able to run, but if anyone knows of anything at all that could still be viewed I'd really appreciate it. I know a few people have said Harbleu has some POVs from S6 or so but I've searched for hours and never been able to find them. Ideally I'm looking for high level 6s matches but I'm not picky.

Bump.

My greatest claim to fame is that I once performed onstage with Otis Redding's grandson.

#8 Sacramento People? in Off Topic
victoryBLNTThanks for the input guys. Davis is a place I might consider, being a college town doesn't really bother me since I just graduated so being around people my age in a new city is something good.

How is traffic up in Sac?

If you're from SoCal you'll be fine. It's not great, but even the Bay Area is nothing compared to Southern California. Davis to Sacramento is like 10-15 minutes, maybe 30 minutes during rush hour. At least in the time I spent there.

Edit: Apparently most folks in their mid-20s live around 14th and P by Southside Park, 20th and H, or East Sac/Land Park area.

Davis is very close and also largely a student town. You can see that as a positive or negative. I'll check with my friends from Sacramento (I used to live nearby) and see what the town's like nowadays.

#38 roamer lft in Recruitment (looking for team)

fatswimdude was probably the most dedicated player on our team last season (not that that's saying much) and deserves a better home. Don't let his shitposting fool you, he loves the game, is a solid and entertaining teammate, and is clearly keen enough to improve quickly given the right fit.

#1 Med, Scout, LFT Low Open in Recruitment (looking for team)

Hey folks, I'm quitting HL next season and looking to focus all my attention on ESEA. I technically have a season of experience in ESEA but the team was an unmitigated disaster and died halfway through the season. I have a couple more seasons in UGC 6s and think I'd be comfortable in low Open. I'd like to be mid Open by the end of the season. We'll see if that happens.

Medic is my main. I've maincalled for nearly all of my teams but would be fine letting someone else call for the team if that's your style. I like healing scouts and I probably don't use arrows as much as I should.

I've played less scout but I'm currently looking for employment, meaning that I can grind DM and MGE all day and I'm hoping that my mechanics will improve. In general I'd say my scout gamesense is stronger than my mechanics.

My ideal team would have a fairly heavy scrim schedule on weeknights, and would have folks who enjoy the game enough to hop in mumble and review demos together during the day if they have time. I'm on EST and pretty much free all day except for 5:30-8:30ish.

I'm a friendly redneck. I like Texas, country music, and cooking, and I'm not a fan of anime.

I'd like to think I could be better than my previous seasons indicate. Give me a shot, my steam account is Sam Houston.

Looking for a team to backup for that would actually need me. Think I can play mid-open if you give me the chance. Would be willing to start if your main dropped out. Can pay my fees.

No longer LFT.

#56 UGC bans picking up dropped mediguns in TF2 General Discussion
DougLook at CSGO, CZ75 was strong as fuck, people were crying in hltv for months, proplayers were complaining in every interview they were asked about it. Do you think any league even thought about banning it?

With the CZ Valve did end up nerfing the weapon to be more acceptable with competitive play though, it wasn't a fast nerf but it did come through eventually. Valve historically hasn't cared about balancing for comp in TF2, meaning we can't tough out the updates and expect things to be balanced out in a reasonable timeframe. If that changes now, that'll be exciting and we can hope Valve pays more attention to comp balance with the upcoming MM features, but I can understand the reticence to allow these weapons/mechanics at this point.

#2 Heavy main looking for team NA in TF2 General Discussion

Hey, this might not be the best forum to find a team as most of this website is devoted to 6s play. If you're looking for a HL team, I'd suggest the UGC recruiting forums or r/tf2lft. You might also have some difficulties as the season is halfway through, but I'm sure there are a few teams looking for subs and the like. Best of luck!

#50 Most treasured item in Off Topic

My HL team gave me an Aussie Pro Killstreak medigun out of appreciation for the work/research I was doing for the team. It was incredibly kind of them. I never do any trading and don't put too much stock in reskins, but I definitely treasure that item because of the thoughts behind it.

twenty2020Fanglesits ok 20 u have no idea what youre talking about :)its amazing that u seem totally ok with being a blatant bandwagon. usually when u meet a gsw fan or something they'll try to defend themselves "i was a fan before they were good" but you openly admit u became a fan AFTER fnatic won 2 majors.

its like meeting a lakers fan in 01 and him admitting he only became a lakers fan after they beat the 76ers

like you werent even early on the bandwagon, as if you carefully considered "has fnatic won enough for me to consider them my favorite.......nah lets wait and see if theyre able to maintain #1"

im just saying it makes your status of "favorite" kind of questionable

What's the issue with it though? Especially because e-sports teams don't have the same geographic focus that IRL sports do, how else should you decide which team you like? I don't think there's anything wrong with pulling for the teams that know how to play better than other teams, skilled CS is always more fun to watch than teams that don't know what they're doing.

Schweppes"Olof got up during the pause and took his headphones off. Apparently there are TVs playing the pov stream and he could have heard their strat which seems to be case because Fnatic randomly pre mollied mid and upper A because they talked about rushing it on their eco."

"Yeah, Fnatic speaks english fine and the streams are on TV's all over the stadium. On Olof's way to the bathroom he could have heard this numerous TVs and it appears he did. Fnatic next round pre mollied exactly where C9 said they were going to rush."

that's shady as fuck but nothing confirmed of course, it's fnatic after all so it wouldn't surprise me

As much as I'm pulling for C9 that's more on the organizers than fnatic. If 100k was on the line and I happened to overhear strats I'm not sure if I could force myself to pretend I didn't hear it. Obviously work needs to be done in the future to prevent these sorts of issues though, the tourney has had too many of them. Along with the whole unable to pause thing.

Does pistol seem a lot more accurate to people? It seems a lot better to me and other people have told me the same.

AuraIf you don't agree just consider that suiciding for metal now on payload is no longer viable and many other little things have been removed.

You still drop 100 ammo on death, no? Just in an ammo box instead of a gun?
