#57 Manchester concert explosion in World Events
mustardoverlordno one is arguing that religious fundamentalism, when under the right conditions, can lead to horrible acts of violence. we're simply disputing the idea that there's something inherent in Islam that makes it more violent than any other religion.

It must be nice being this naive
Lets just conveniently ignore the statistics and the fact that islam isnt just a religion but also has its own law system and military guidelines

Its sad that they can just blow up kids at a concert and you people will still rush to their defense

#9 irrational fears in Off Topic

https://i.imgur.com/LXY2Ijs.jpg

I've held snakes in my neck and had a tarantula on my hand and it didn't faze me, but I'm scared of wasps, simply jump at the sight of them. Probably not all that irrational since I once got stung in my ear by one. One time one crawled up my shirt and stung me 3-4 times before I ripped my shirt open in the middle in Cologne like some awful Superman impersonation.

Things are literally Hitler to me.

SpaceCadetI am a road rage news story waiting to happen. Ticking fucking time bomb.
I drive properly and safely all the time but there are just so many bad drivers.

also this
if you ever feel useless, remember that somewhere out there there are people who's job is installing turning signals in BMWs

AlexandrosSchweppesAn 'independent outsider' endorsed by the current administration he was once part of and eventually by every single party no longer in the election

just doesn't sound very convincing, now does it?

He wasn't endorsed by the current administration, he didn't run under Hollande's banner. He worked for him, but was not endorsed by him.

3 links from first page of literally googling it
a guy who worked for Hollande starting his 'own movement' is simply a rebrand due to Hollande's awful approval rating, nothing more. You're a fool if you think he will be any different

"macron will positively impact the economy"

he was literally a part of Hollande's government for years as minister of economics, are people this quick to forget like wtf

whymeowhite nationalism lost today.

nationalism and economic protectionism isn't the same as white nationalism, far from it

#56 Samurai Jack season 5 in Music, Movies, TV
Show Content
I think this is the final season yes, they made this season purely to wrap up the story instead of leaving it open ended

If I had to guess how it's going to end: Jack won't get back to the past but stay in the present with Ashi, since she probably gets "erased" if he undoes everything, I think it's going to be some bittersweet ending about how they 'can't change the past' but could improve the future starting from now that Aku is gone

but this show always surprises me and something like this also seems way too cliche/predictable so I'm excited for what the final 3 episodes will bring

also I was raging hard when they "killed" the scotsman

#17 New Gorillaz album in Music, Movies, TV

Aight so I was a good boy and waited for my deluxe copy to arrive before listening even though it leaked

Damn solid album, very different from the others but that's the point with Gorillaz, I'm happy :) Strobelite, The Apprentice and Andromeda are my favorites so far. It's indeed chaotic but I love it
