It's a lot of fun!
I am not so fond of the majority of the people who play it online since they play VERY gimmicky and extremely safe, since they don't really understand how the neutral game works in Smash-based games.
Nonetheless, the game is extremely solid but the connections can vary like pointed out above.
It runs on peer2peer at the moment, but hopefully will switch to something more stable when it will be fully released in some months.

Your best bet is to add someone within your region, test if the connection is smooth and then have some fun.

#1227 HUD editing: short questions, quick answers in Customization

I'd like to know how I can add an outline to my health number, as well as change the position, colour and size of the number that pops up whenever you receive health.

#11 Sil leaving TLR? R.I.P in TF2 General Discussion

Just get Larval 'Epsilon' Extract instead of that moron.
I really hope TLR doesn't die after this, best wishes for HYS and the rest.

disengageIs there a way to make this game windowed/noborder?

There is a free program called "Borderless Window" and pretty much does what it says.
Been using it for years, didn't get VAC'd.

Solved the first problem, but second still unsolved. Is there any HUD that has that exact Crosshair from the second picture?

#293 HUD editing: short questions, quick answers in Customization

I would like to change/'add' better and improved 3D Models onto my HUD, my current ones look kinda weird.

Secondly, is it possible to make my current crosshair somewhat thiner, like this?

#10 I can't see anything in Q/A Help

hudlayout.res or clientscheme.res is broken/wrong font definitions.
Just re-apply the HUD, else I have no clue.

#20 "CS:GO could get its own international tournament" in CS2 General Discussion

I think Prog from the Smash community has said it the best: as long as there is a community wanting to play this game out of passion, it will life and eventually we will get recognition from Valve.

We just need to keep doing what we have been doing for the past 7 years and we will have what the other 'e-Sports' games have right now, its just about the fact that we keep playing and keep loving this game in our little circle.
We don't need support from Valve, why do we? We made it this far without any support and just with sheer passion for this game. I've made so many fond memories and friendships over the years and met a lot of interesting people.
We always have something to look forward to: the ESEA LANs, hopefully the CEVO LANs in the future and the Insomnia LANs and while it is true that we don't have as many big entertaining events every month, those STILL are some pretty big gatherings and deliver us some of the best TF2 we have ever seen.

Honestly, I couldn't be more happier about the current state of our game, let's just do what we have been doing for all these years.

#5 Lebron back to Cleveland in Off Topic

Rather questionable in my opinion, could have a lot more sucess literally anywhere else and not in that unstable-of-a-mess organisation that the Cavs seem to be.
But hey, money talks.
