You genuinely have to be brain damaged to come up with shit like this. People need to start going outside more instead of sitting at home and larping epick cultchural politicul twitter warriors. And this is coming from someone that's very much left wing

paskodbkunless you want to shave it every week so it doesn't look weird as shit, waxing is the better option
by weird do you mean it grows fuzzy/curly?
Na after you shave it fully in a couple days the new hairs under the skin will basically give you a 5 o clock shadow on your chest so you gotta do it very often. If you let them grow a millimeter or two it also looks spiky and weird. Waxing lasts longer
Edit: it all depends on your skin and chest hair tbh, just shave it and see how it regrows. If it looks like ass, wax it
I trim it down to 3mm, otherwise I look like an ape. It's still there but it's not long curly and sweaty. Trimming is p chill, no ingrown hairs, 5 min work in the shower every couple of weeks. Waxing/shaving sounds like too much work

YeeHawIs there a site/statistic that will show you an accurate response time?
Not that I know of for every monitor but the vid I watched and the reddit comment I saw used some kind of external sensor that they put up to the monitor to measure it. I'm not techy enough to know exactly what it is
mariesaghostidk if anyone has privately told you but I don't believe most manufacturers are lying about the response times, just using gray to gray which isnt the important one for good display. mrpt generally isn't listed (maybe in the tech specs? But frankly I havent looked at monitor tech since 2015) and will almost always be higher.
also correct me if im wrong, I'm a nerd that doesnt know new shit and thats not conducive to being a nerd
This one's actually advertised as having 1ms MRPT, but I'm pretty sure that's with their motion blur reduction tech turned up the the max, which makes it strobe like a motherfucker and gives everyone that's tried it a serious headache. The actual response time that people measured in a bunch of different yt vids/reddit was ~8.5 ms. That's what I meant by lying - listing data from conditions that no one would use irl
Anyways I ordered it because fuck it, it looks like what I need on paper and I didn't find any awful reviews, hopefully it's good

Too bad you'd need the NASA mainframe to run new games @ 1440p 240 fps
radu you have to have the first crosshair option (crosshair "none") selected in the in-game options.
cl_crosshair_file ""
if you're using console
Thinking about buying it but you guys have given me advice/convinced me out of buying stuff in the past so I wanted to run it by you. Any experiences or obvious downsides?
Edit: it's on sale rn so I need quick advice but what has me worried is the 8.5ms response time I found on reddit (it's an IPS monitor). I know manufacturers all claim their monitors are 5ms or 1ms and it's a lie, so what's a good response time to aim for? Is 8.5 acceptable for a game like tf2 or is a fast TN panel the only proper way to go?

Caught that too, was too lazy to look for a better pic tho
AsecI can recommend getting at least a desk with adjustable height (manually adjustable length for each table leg). I used to have a relatively cheap one from IKEA until I got myself an electric sit-stand desk (ideal for me, although an investment).
Also, people can have very different leg-torso ratios, 2 of the same height might have different ideal desk heights.
Yeah, I was thinking about getting one the next time I'm in a country with Ikea, or maybe just getting a shorter non adjustable one custom made (should be cheaper). I just wanted to know if someone else had the same issues
Cubenityi'm tall and 75cm is way too low for me, i have to bend like a goblin to rest my elbows on the desk, no way these desks are designed for tall people
It all depends on how you sit i guess. The 195cm height for 75 cm desks was probably calculated for people sitting properly/ergonomically
^that's the proper way to sit if you don't want long term issues
Now, look at this stock photo of what looks like an average height dude sitting at an average height desk
https://i.imgur.com/idwY15s.jpg
See how his shoulders are raised up and arms both flared outwards so he can get his elbows up on the desk, unlike the first pic where the proper sitting guy has his upper arm hanging down freely and the desk surface comes naturally under his elbow

Am I the only one that finds default height desks incredibly uncomfortable? I'm 180cm (5'11 for burgers) and I remember reading that the standard desk height (75 cm) makes sense ergonomically for people about 195 cm tall (6'4). If I get my chair high enough to have my mouse arm comfortably moving, my feet don't touch the floor fully which puts a lot of pressure on the backs of my thighs and makes my legs fall asleep after 15 mins. If I lower my chair so that my feet are flat on the ground, my right arm is in a weird position that makes aiming uncomfortable and limits my range of motion.
Am I crazy or are there others
