supraRockzcan you try a different OS? like make a live usb and test it there, that'll rule out if it's a hardware or windows fault
that's actually a good protip, use ubuntu linux live cd, work on it for like a day (i bet you won't play tf2 on it but you surely can use browser and stuff and see if the problem persists)
you don't have to install linux on your drive, it's enough if you have it on your pendrive
if you don't have a usb stick, get it it's very cheap and i bet it's worth taking for your case
8/16 GB is defo enough
I'll try to get my hands on a USB stick, will post results when I do, prob late tonight or tomorrow.
Anyway, in the meantime, a common problem is apparently the intel management engine, you have to uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.” in device manager and the issue is solved.
Like i said earlier, I have a ryzen cpu and apparently the amd equivalents of the intel management engine are called AMD Secure Technology or AMD Platform Security Processor (PSP). I wanted to look for them to see if theyre causing a similar issue for me, but they're not in my drivers list in device manager. Can any large brained individual help with this lead?
