Title. When I try joining a server off my friends list or when autoconnect triggers on sites like tf2center, both from the site itself or from the tf2c tools extension, all I get is the server preview window saying server not responding.

I've tried it both with the game running in the background and it not being open. I have to manually start the game and paste the connect in console. Then, in the case of tf2center, after I close tf2 after the match, it opens again after a min or so and tries connecting me to the server. It started about a week ago, I haven't changed anything on my pc. Any advice? Thank

I've always found pyro fun as shit to play, it's a zero effort class that frustrates the shit out of everyone you play against. Sometimes it's just nice to turn your brain and arms off and still kill people

Couldn't be bothered to do the more in-depth tweaks but disabling core 0 for tf2 gave me a noticeable fps boost (from 180 to 193 on benchmark1). Worth noting that I ran the tests the with a bunch of shit open in the background (~10 browser tabs, discord, spotify etc), i.e. the way a person normally uses their PC, and not with everything closed and only tf2 running

The top spot isn't hard to keep if you replace whatever teammate(s) you lose each season with the best the scene has to offer. You strengthen your own team and butcher the #2 / #3 team, ez win. TF2 doesn't have enough dedicated players to make several teams that would be on equal footing at the top

It's not just a b4nny exclusive thing either, 7 did it for ages in EU as well. I'm sure there are tons of other examples, I just don't follow the scene that closely. Player(s) on the #2/3 team get good enough to challenge the #1 team and give some hope of actual competition at the top => player(s) get poached and incorporated into the #1 team, boredom ensues next season. The #1 team has the same name, sure, but the roster changes every few seasons to a frankenstein mishmash of whoever the 6 best players at the time are, ship of Theseus kinda deal.
