So the update obviously didn't come out this weekend, but I did pretty much finish. The only things left to do are 4Plug related fixes and additions, but sadly 4Plug is not working for me currently so I can't do those things.
Do you guys think I should go ahead and release what I have (which is still a lot), or try and fix 4Plug and add the remaining things on my list?
You can view the list and what I've done in the Google doc I linked above.
Just wanted to let you guys know I am working hard on a big update that I should hopefully have ready this weekend. I'm overhauling several things again, namely the backpack/loadout panels. Here's a sneak peak:

I've also created a Google doc for 7HUD to track my progress through a version, so you guys can also see how I'm doing.
No, you'd still have to go into the clientscheme and manually change all the fonts mainmenuoverride uses to default if you wanted to do that.
What borders in the clientscheme control these backgrounds?
jpxthanks for the reply. well all i wanted to see was the default homescreen. what do i need to delete from my hud folder to set it to default?
Delete the console folder out of the materials folder.
That would be quite a lot of work to do. If you want everything but in-game to be default, you'd have to delete tons of files and rearrange your clientscheme.res to remove all the necessary fonts to make your menus etc. default. You don't want to do that.
Where is the quickplay stuff? Is it quickplaydialog.res?
We resolved cobbalt's issue. I made an announcement on Steam, but I'll ask here too: I'm gonna be updating soon but I've fallen a bit behind on TF2 updates, so I need a little help figuring out what all needs fixing. If you guys could post here (with some pictures please) and let me know what's up, I'll try and sort it out.
Thanks :)
Awesome to read all these stories. I posted on reddit as well and got some interesting responses there too.
A little more about my history: I started out in 2012 with a base model Mac laptop that was capable of s blinding 60 FPS with Chris' maxframes config. Those were the days...
I made a quick poll. I'd also like to hear why you picked it up. I started in January of 2012 because I saw a friend play it and it looked pretty neato.
So no fixing is needed for this update? The "New!" text integrates without editing?
Yeah, I just couldn't really figure out where to put them last update. It is on my list.
I've been having this problem for ages now with my dx9frames config. Whenever I look in the general direction of water, my FPS tanks down to around 15. If there's no water on the map, my FPS is great, usually doesn't ever dip below 100 so I'm really confused. I've checked out all the water related commands in the config and none do the trick. So I'm wondering if anyone knows of any commands that may manipulate water but don't have water in the command name, as I've checked all of those. This problem doesn't occur when I run a higher quality config either; my FPS doesn't tank even on Chris' maxquality config.
It's been plaguing me forever, I really want to get this resolved as all maps with water on them are literally unplayable for me in this state.
