Alright, after looking back at other modern edits, I have to say:
I'm so fucking wrong about 60p being the modern standard for edits, it definitely isn't. Sorry about that.
There is, however, a trend of people making their 24 and 30p edits feel buttery smooth, which I think is what I was reacting to when saying (small) parts of this video feel a bit choppy to me (specifically, choppy in a way that disrupts my experience rather than enhancing it).
I went out on a limb and assumed the choppiness was due to a framerate choice that not everyone was on board with (as it was a 4-way collab), but clearly I was wrong about that. I also can't rule out my own cognitive bias in perceiving those parts as choppy. Either way, I'm nitpicking.
To be clear:
-I still think this video is really great (I hate the music choice personally but as DanceNumber said that doesn't take away from the achievement here)
-I'm not some 60p elitist (although I think it's equally elitist to discard it entirely as a choice)
