I'm considering getting a new motherboard and CPU because I think this motherboard is biting the dust (usb ports seem to be fucked). I would prefer overclocking and multithreading.

Budget would preferably be around $500, but I might be willing to go up to 1k (NZ dollars). Not against buying from overseas for cheaper prices. I may buy second hand in the end because I don't want to spend too much. Also, is there anything coming out I should be waiting for?

the only reason I use rl instead of the original is because I like using dh in pubs and there's no version of the dh that shoots from the middle

in regards to jumping I'm pretty sure they both get the exact same height, but you have to strafe to the right with rl to get a max ctap, that said afaik most jumpers prefer rl but that might have changed

I get higher fps on DX8 but it fluctuates more. DX9 feels smoother. So I use DX9.
