TimTumIs it recommended to secure seats right now and wait until the other areas open up?
The LAN always sells well, so the other sections should open up (within 4 weeks) so its not necessary but

CyanicShooshAlso just so you know this area, https://gyazo.com/e7094be1a4a47cde9b8a22846524b09e , is the esport stage. Sat next to that last year and it gets loud as fuck, you dont want to sit near it.
do we want to go for the lower right most blocks of green seats then rather than the top two?
Probably the middle two, there the caster platform at the bottom too.
Im currently sat below the social games area just to secure seats. Might move where everyone else is later when they open up.
Most of TF2, sat from like AA-AF last year, but this is next to the stage so not a good idea.

Also a lot of tf2 people are sitting below the social games area
I think the motherboard last year was a Asus PRIME Z370-P on the V10 version which does have a single port for an older keyboard. Doesn't necessarily mean it'll be the same motherboard and pc this year though.
Keyboards last year were usb, were a TTesports commander keyboard.
What do you call it when someone shoots the rocket then shakes and wiggles the crosshair like they have parkinsons..

This was so satisfying
TwiggyIIRC someone from NA talked about costs breakdown for EU lan; I can't remember how much it costs for one american to afford the LAN
Arent they mostly community funded anyway?
BilbertOut of curiosity, what are the logistics of BYOC from another continent? How does one usually do it?
People usually rent computers if coming international, especially NA. As far as I'm aware there's different pcs and packages with varying prices. The highest priced one usually has 144hz monitors. You can rent everything, such as a pc, monitor keyboard and mousepad.
Last year you showed up to LAN, signed in, went into the BYOC hall and there's where the rental stand was. You'd go and show them your ticket/receipt etc and they'd give you the package you paid for.
Last year's: https://forums.multiplay.com/insomnia61/105519-pc-rental-spec-sheet-pricing
Be warned, last year there was a big fuss over monitors in that some people bought the cheaper system with the idea of getting a 144hz monitor and turned out that wasn't the case and were given a 60hz monitor.
Maxi-ShooshAfter 2 years of being unsuccessful I've finally made it into a university in London to study medicine :D although it's gonna be expensive AF to live there
