Need a laptop for uni starting September.
Needs to be:
Lightweight (mobility); fast, even when it has a lot of stuff on it, as a slow computer will annoy me; long lasting, this is going to be my study item for like 5-7 years so I don't mind investing as long as its good; Ideally I want 12-16gb ram and an SSD('s); and a long battery life; backlit keys.
Doesn't necessarily need to game but if it does then its a bonus, meaning a sick GPU isnt necessary aslong as it can run like twitch in source mode etc and films if needed in HD.

sagedunno if i mentioned it before but it would be great if divs were color-coded in players, a small part of the code just fetching divs from players ETF2L/ESEA page or something. Would make people more eager to captain probably, and people with lesser knowledge would have decisions made way easier for them without having to study the profiles/logs of dozens of players :P
Might be wrong but isn't this the reason elo was removed? People with high elo were getting picked only and newcomers or those with low elo because bad or just got picked on the wrong team could rarely ever play unless they were known etc. This might just create the same issue in that only red names and orange are picked. Although I guess people playing in higher divisions is more accurate of skill level than pug elo.
If there was a hoodie with the small logo like the zip-up I'd be all over that.

After 3 hours of formatting it lives!
For future googlers my HDD was constantly at 100% and so startup was a massive pain (like 5-10 minutes to start and sometimes wouldn't start at all). I made the hard drives hot fixable so that wasn't an issue and did a clean install of windows from a disc instead of USB.
When coming to the drive selection screen for windows I remained to have the I/O Error for my HDD but installed windows on my SSD.
Only after installing all the windows updates and hot fixing the drive did the PC finally allow the HDD to be formatted from RAW to NTFS but took forever.
Massive thanks to setsul for allowing me to bother him on steam aswell as TF.TV I know I asked dumb shit but I was 6 hours in attempting to fix it so wanted to make sure it was right.

It was a piece of software threads recommended due to the I/O error with one saying it works on all drives he's had including not WD
HD Tune says it's all ok
Error code 0x80070057 after attempting to format
