TerraAccepted to University of Georgia and Georgia Tech for in-state options (free money is pretty great) but Northwestern Univ. is by far my first choice. Still waiting, considering app. deadline is tomorrow. Should hear from the School of Music before too long though! :) Hoping for the best...
Georgia Tech is an awesome setup. I was accepted there and I was seriously considering taking the offer.
What is your major?
Pythooon
Sorry that highlander isn't the DM shitfest you want it to be
No one is saying that.
Why does steel require teamwork any more than another map? There is no reason to keep throwing new maps into the rotation, especially during a season where thousands of dollars are being decided. Teamwork comes from mastery of fundamentals, not learning how to play vitalism/haunt (for example).
steel is the cancer of tf2.
Wish we could for once, get a glimpse of upward in the regular season.
midk the higher level pugs i play in the less effective the p90/spray and pray a-d nonsense is
You are right. pro90 a-d spray isn't so effective when your opponent has crosshair placement and can out-aim you.
Most of what you guys are describing is simply the symptoms of 64 tick. When you are on servers that run 128 you will find that the hit detection is pretty great.
I believe ESEA and all the recognized leagues run 128. Don't quote me on that though.
You can't just guess on what the best price is. What you know is that the best price is below ESEA (because frankly, you offer less features), and above the minimum to break even. Strawpolls are the last place to go for a correct price. I am willing to bet if there was a $1 option in that poll it would win as well. The majority of people are just going to pick the lowest price.
ESEA makes large sums, because they have market research on what price people will pay.
Not to sound like a jerk, but you guys should really watch a stream when they go over demo reviews. Or even watch some of the dream hack VODs. The CS meta is far and beyond more advanced that what you guys are describing, especially if we compare to tf2.
It seems to me that you guys have only played match making if you think this way. Crosshair placement over aim, nade angles, map knowledge, defense positions etc. I don't know even 5% of it.
lots of counter strike hate...
Yea, this isn't how a business would normally do market research. But I doubt CEVO has any economists on payroll.
The least expensive option is winning. imagine that
Panthers playoff tickets :)))
Why does MLG want to add TF2 over Counter Strike? Do they just not like the game?
