I wouldn't mind cl2, but they really need to sort out unlock balance. Mainly stuff like Wrangler which can make attacking awful, most prominently on a/d and pl. Also, we need map selection. I don't want to play Swiftwater.

wolsneThe video also has nothing to do with the event and gives no details at all, I'm quite confused
This Reddit post pretty much explains the schedule, donation incentives, rewards etc.

I kind of hope this doesn't convince Valve to change the playercount in Competitive Mode to something like 8v8 to appeal to all the Casual players answering "I don't enjoy the 6v6 format" in the survey.
If this happened it would be yet another reason to not take Comp Mode seriously.
Try this and see if it works

Victorif you have a particle remover (like the one in cleantf2), it will remove some particles related to unusuals
I've tried the CleanTF2 particle removers as well. Just like the nohatsmod version, they worked in the private server but not the Valve server.
BonafideThat's because that is a newer effect
Oh, that makes sense. Is there an updated version?
BonafideIt works for me, so I don't know what you're doing wrong lol.
Edit: Links were mixed up
BonafideSolarLightI don't mean all particles, just stuff like unusual effects and other un-needed clutter. I just wanted to find this (apparent) method to remove some particles that works in pure.https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/92187841/Nohat-effects.vpk
This did not work in pure.
Does the nohatsmod version work in pure? Last time I checked, it didn't. I also have the no explosions script.

I was recently playing a lobby where someone told me he had a noparticles mod which worked in sv_pure, but it only worked on DX8. He told me to Google it up, but I wasn't able to find anything that specific after searching for about 30 minutes. Does anyone know of this mod, or any other means to reduce particle effects in pure servers?
