#12 SpaceCadet`HX - IM Roamer LFT in Recruitment (looking for team)

This might be a little early for LFT because playoffs have not begun but figured to bump this thread instead of making a new one.

LFT for Season 20 as a roamer in IM

Everything in the first post still applies. I believe I am improving every season. Looking for a team with a will to win that matches my own.

Will make any Scrim / Match times needed

Add for tryouts

#85 ESEA Map Poll in TF2 General Discussion

cp_follower

What would be the problem with bringing back an old map that has been through league play before, like follower, to replace granary?

#39 ESEA Map Poll in TF2 General Discussion
remedyaim-u guys always say granary but what the fuck are you going to replace it with xD

also stop letting blands be a 2nd map or 3rd map in bo3 its just like cheesy with the back caps
because watching dumb 3 man sacks over and over again on a map where last is stupid hard to push out of unless you have every advantage ever is waaay funner to watch

You still did not answer his question at all. We are all aware of Granary and other maps problems pushing out of last so we don't need a lecture on TF2 gameplay.

For the last few seasons we had this same poll, and it is the same issue every time. Name a map that is good enough to replace granary or any other map in the poll and I will consider voting Granary out. Why the fuck would I or anyone want to blindly vote out any good map in the current rotation and have no clue what was going to replace it?

#21 ESEA Map Poll in TF2 General Discussion

How can we vote on taking out a map in the rotation without knowing the map or maps being considered to replace it?

We asked and said the same thing last season which is why we voted to keep granary. You need to tell us what map you are going to put in the rotation BEFORE we vote.

#1 SpaceCadet`HX - IM Roamer LFT in Recruitment (looking for team)

Hello, I am looking to join an IM team as Roamer for Season 19 and feel I can compete at any level of IM.

I am an extremely competitive person and simply focus on getting better and helping my team. I am old for TF2 at 37 but will make all practice/matches as I have a very flexible schedule. I don't bring drama or any other bullshit with me, just solid DM and a will to win and have fun.

Would love some tryouts, add me

#9 Shiki LFT in Recruitment (looking for team)

Shiki was a great teammate for S18. Easily has the talent to play in IM. Combined with the dedication to improvement and learning he can become a scary player in a short time.

#2 Medic LFT in Recruitment (looking for team)

Very good medic that is dedicated to team improvement over everything else. We had a solid S18 together and tery was integral in our progress from the beginning. If you need a knowledgeable and skilled medic, look no further.

I enjoyed playing with during S18. Solid scout with good DM abilities. On the right team his playstyle will shred opponents.

#37 3/30/15 S18 regular season lookback in TF2 General Discussion

How did you feel about your season? What were the good and bad points?

Blanc Esports had a good season IMO. Our goal was to make playoffs and qualify for IM next season. Hopefully we get moved up. Good point was watching our team develop from pre-season to mid-season where we changed for the better as we moved along. Bad point for me was playoffs. Not because we lost but because of roster and internet problems at the worst possible time. Those factors combined made it hard for us to practice and prepare for our matches.

What specific expectations did you have, and which ones got fulfilled? Which ones didn't?

Expectations were Playoffs and IM. Playoffs were fulfilled but we wait to see about IM

How do you feel about the logistics of playing scrims and matches?

Mostly a non-issue for me. I have tons of free time and an awesome wife that lets me do whatever I want. I can make mostly any scrim/match.

What do you think about the distribution of skill in ESEA?

I have no issue with the "skill" of ESEA divisions. My issue is more with the competitive TF2 community in general regarding roster changes mid-season and cutting players when playoff time nears. I am an old school TF player and the most taboo thing a team or player could do in the past was "clan hop" around. Players who did this were treated as outcasts and rarely were able to get into the good established teams. However, in TF2 this is a widely accepted way of life in every division. Perhaps I am out of the current loop but I value player / team loyalty greatly and sadly TF2 has very little to offer in that category.

Will you be playing in S19? If not, what is stopping you from playing again?

100% playing, don't care if it's Open again but I will be playing.

How do you feel about how ESEA compares to other leagues?

UGC is a joke, CEVO is Dead.
Being the only league, it would be wonderful if ESEA put on some TF2 events to spark more interest in our game but I know there is literally no chance of that happening.

Are there any specific resources you feel like would help you as a player?

I started this game 5+ years behind everyone else so I am still playing catch-up. That said, I watch a LOT of video on this game posted from other players, especially euro players. That resource has helped me greatly but I have yet to seek a demo review from an invite level player for any tips and critique of my play. Perhaps I should try and change that.

Would you recommend people to play ESEA? If so, under what conditions?

Simply put, ESEA is the only place to play competitive TF2 in a 6v6 format. If you value competition and want to improve, ESEA is your only option. I would have no choice but to recommend it.

What's your next goal?

As always, continue to improve myself and my team. I work full-time and don't have a ton of free time during the day to devote to playing the game. When I am playing TF2, I am usually always working on improving some part of my game. My ultra competitive personality is hard to hold back and I always feel like I need to get better.

#10 Blanc Esports LFP S19 in Recruitment (looking for players)

Tery said mostly everything perfectly. The only thing I would add is that we had an enjoyable time hanging out with each other during the season. Mumble environment was always good and even during hard times was constructive and never filled with drama. We will not stand for drama. This is something I would expect to continue for future seasons

Speaking for myself, I am extremely competitive and dedicated to improving. I like to surround myself with others who feel the same like my current teammates. So if you feel you are an IM capable scout that is mature and willing to dedicate the time to improve yourself, add Tery and lets put in some work this upcoming season.

#35 old shows you guys watched growing up? in Off Topic

Going to show my age on this one but my favorite childhood show ever was "Star Blazers". The beginning of the first episode pretty much explains everything in the first few mins. Constant fighting and action, fun memories.
