Problem is, there aren't a lot of big returns for investment into the TF2 scene at the moment. I mean, yeah, I guess some orgs could sponsor top teams right now, anticipating the scene to grow like how CS:GO has grown, but that doesn't seem very likely.

I guess I forgot to mention that she was the one behind all the scenes on all our scrims, I just showed up to play. Some people need the opportunity to show their skills, and to improve and strengthen them, give her that opportunity.

Does anyone know when did Taimou get his aiming skill? I'm pretty sure he only played medic in TF2 and was known for his dodging and surfing skills.
Shootmania? Dirty bomb?
He's played a ton of CS:GO recently, uploaded some videos of it too.
I'm a little ashamed that half my replies are meme-bumps, nonetheless, still looking for tryouts!
I'm no setsul, but I guess I can give a few words of advice (I'm sorry if there is any misinformation in my post).
With a budget like that, a GTX 950 and an i5 4690k would be fine for games like TF2 or CS:GO, granted you may want to lower a few graphical settings or run a lower resolution if you want to maintain a high fps. Stuff like case fans and whatnot can be chosen a little more easily, depending on what's on sale, and what's pretty cheap (I'd recommend you look for a quiet case fan, I got some fans for cheap, and realized they were super loud, and ended up buying some better fans later on).
Not sure about being upgradeable with budget like that, but if you do plan on making slight improvements later on (addition of more RAM, although I don't think that's necessarily a big upgrade), you'd have to invest more into a motherboard, go for one that overclocks, and later down the line, you can get a better heatsink to overclock your CPU.
Don't get an SSD as you're on a budget, most HDD's these days aren't too expensive these days, and you can meditate and think of life as you wait during loading screens.
https://www.reddit.com/r/bapcsaleseurope is a neat place to find deals. Although the thing about buying parts is that you want to buy them within the same timeframe, so that if something goes wrong in the build process, or it turns out your parts are actually DOA (Dead-on Arrival), you have some kind of warranty to work with.
EDIT: Thank you to setsul for the advice on AMD and AIOs, now I can spend the money I saved for an AIO on for hats or food.
Sure is nice outside, bumptastic!
Did anyone else think of this while reading the article?
Well, after the huge success of CS:GO, I can't imagine ESEA not keeping an open eye and being willing to invest into TF2, if MM brings in waves of new players.
Finished finals! Am now open any day for scrims!

AFAIK, using low dpi was common b/c most mice's native dpi (the dpi with little error) was pretty low. I think the Zowie FK1 works fine on every dpi step, but most people just stick to 400/800 b/c they're used to it, this of course depends from mouse to mouse.
If your using the nosmoke script that removes the viewmodel particles while shooting, that might be enabling the fog on dx9. Do you have a screenshot of the fog your experiencing?
