#18 Callout Crisis in Map Discussion
DubThinkBucket's pretty good, though "bucket's trapped" becomes much more ambiguous. I've called it big door for a while.

because it's a big door.

Only tiny, minor drawback to that is that it's actually not a door.

#10 Looking for scrims in TF2 General Discussion

Part of the TF2 comp experience and rite of passage is getting owned by better (in this case open) teams, until you are the better team.

Though you still get owned by better French mixes.

#11 How to get FREE AUSTRALIUM SKINS in 2020 in Videos

Dear Sir:

I have been requested by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company to contact you for assistance in resolving a matter. The Nigerian National Petroleum Company has recently concluded a large number of contracts for oil exploration in the sub-Sahara region. The contracts have immediately produced moneys equaling US$40,000,000. The Nigerian National Petroleum Company is desirous of oil exploration in other parts of the world, however, because of certain regulations of the Nigerian Government, it is unable to move these funds to another region.

You assistance is requested as a non-Nigerian citizen to assist the Nigerian National Petroleum Company, and also the Central Bank of Nigeria, in moving these funds out of Nigeria. If the funds can be transferred to your name, in your United States account, then you can forward the funds as directed by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company. In exchange for your accommodating services, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company would agree to allow you to retain 10%, or US$4 million of this amount.

However, to be a legitimate transferee of these moneys according to Nigerian law, you must presently be a depositor of at least US$10,000 in a Nigerian bank which is regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

If it will be possible for you to assist us, we would be most grateful. We suggest that you meet with us in person in Lagos, and that during your visit I introduce you to the representatives of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company, as well as with certain officials of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Please call me at your earliest convenience at 18-467-4975. Time is of the essence in this matter; very quickly the Nigerian Government will realize that the Central Bank is maintaining this amount on deposit, and attempt to levy certain depository taxes on it.

Yours truly,

Prince Alyusi Islassis

#64 Med speed buff removal EU DMIXES in TF2 General Discussion

it is kind of annoying to rocket a scout as you turn a corner, do 100 to yourself, and he one shots you with his first shot.

But then, it also kind of makes sense that you also take a fuck load of damage from shooting a body pressed pretty much against you with a rocket launcher. How much damage would you now take with gunboats in this scenario then?

I'm not sure that this fix is quite in line with the intention of the gunboats (to aid mobility right?) and feels like a bit of a get out of jail free card, but i guess it's worth testing.

All the other fixes seem like no brainers. Good shit.

#51 What do you wish you had realized/learned sooner? in TF2 General Discussion
alfaHaving a different sens on every class is the play because each class plays entirely differently.

Med is the easiest way to the top, you will be as good as your team is. If you don't believe me go watch shade's POV in froyo matches, he will literally sit in river on gully not popping with even ubers and they still win the round 5v6 after his team pushed in. Same story with many meds who have made it to the top, it's why med is the one class any top player can fill in if they gave a fuck to play that class.

Note: Not putting shade's skill down, it's just that post 2016 he never had to lift a finger to win a game unless they played 7 or old Ascent. Pretty sure he streamed matches drunk and still won really hard lol

The logic I used, but everyone tells me I'm stupid for doing it.

Mould made good points.

For me personally, I wish I'd learned that changing sens will massively hold me back (amongst other things) from improving. Especially changing back and forth every day or two, in scrims, in dm, constantly. Even now I need to pick a sens and just stick with it for a long time. CHanging it both stops my muscle memory and takes me focus away from the cerebral side of the game. At least I know it now and am trying to break the habit.

I guess another would be to not think about div so much when judging player quality or my own quality. I could be carried in a div2 team and it wouldn't make me div 2 quality. I guess relating to Mould's point, basically just don't think about that kind of thing and focus on whatever improvement I can make rather than thinking if i'm good enough to play at X level.

#3562 PC Build Thread in Hardware

Well yeah actually. But a lot of sites/reviewers tend to recommend the one I opted for. I mean, I'm open to other suggestions, From what I gather, Ryzen is better value for money than intel at the lower/mid end and I guess Intel is best at high price points (which I don't want). SO i opted for a Ryzen and that one seems to be popular.

Feel free to recommend others. What would you suggest?

Okay cooler dropped. And I think you're right on the EVo from what I understand. So you suggest I overclock the cpu? I mean I could, if it's simple enough to do.

What about the power? Is 650 too much considering partpicker suggests it will use about 350. I assume overclocking uses more?

#3560 PC Build Thread in Hardware

- Had it recommended to me by a friend and when I did some research it seemed to review really well. It's a good price too.

- I won't be overclocking any time soon, no.

- Ideally I'm looking to spend up to 1300 including monitor. 1500 is absolute max, but ideally 1000-1300. So any cost savings are appreciated.

-I'm probably going to order all the parts this weekend and build it when it all comes really. Hopefully by next weekend.

If I can save money and not have an extra cooler if I don't need it then then that's great. I'm not bothered about stuff like 4k and TF2 is the main game I play (though may play some AAA games tbh), so I also assume my GPU could be downgraded. Maybe an RX 5500 XT?

#3558 PC Build Thread in Hardware

Yo, looking to buy a pc as I've moved abroad and don't have one. I'll basically use it to play TF2 (and probably stream a bit) and probably some AAA games with friends/games like Bannerlord if it ever comes out (but mostly Tf2). If a more portable or smaller case would work, that would be cool cause I may have to move apartments at some point, though I'm probably too shit at building to effectively manage a small case.

I've made a build on Partpicker and it would be good if someone could have a look and suggest any areas it can be improved ( more efficient, unnecessary stuff, cheaper options etc). I may have gone OTT on stuff like the GPU and power for all I know. I want that CPU so I built from there.

Any help much appreciated.

I wasn't refering to single-payer free healthcare because america never had it.

More like affordable housing, decent jobs with a livable wage etc.

Getting drafted in wars, civil rights stuff, nuclear threat, etc etc..
oh how life has improved, now we bomb others with robots instead of going ourselves

Wat

Yes, life has improved as we re not getting drafted to go and die in wars. is that even debatable?

CollaideBoomers really are fighting tooth and nail to make sure the young people of todays world don't have the priveliges they themselves had growing up.

Honestly though every part of the American electoral system is unjust, rigged or stupid. It's designed not to allow for change.

Not sure you know your history too well mate...

The other part is right though
