You should only bother paying for ESEA if you get on a team to play a season with. Otherwise there's not much reason to pay for it.
Clearly the invite teams need to stir up some more drama for us, cause some of the threads recently have just been pathetic.
BenroadsNot really relevant to the whole whitelist situation but adding some new maps to the rotation would be interesting imo. As for sniper I think someone posted a headshot only plugin that would "feign" their death so it would act as a kill for you but not interrupt their fight.

That would be good. One server with unlocks and sniper, and the other one pretty plain. See how much traffic each one gets, maybe that can help your decisions.

Not all unlocks are useful for improving your DM ability. That's what DM servers are for.
Let the eXtv DM servers have the unlocks, and keep the TF.tv ones pure. Or reverse, it, I don't really care, but since there seems to be such a huge split in the community (not really, it sounds like most people prefer to have gunboats banned), then half the DM servers should allow it, and the other half should keep it banned.
From what I've heard, Crunchy didn't enforce any time limit or anything, it was PGT that unpaused. Like Sakura just said, both teams were in a shitty situation, blame the DDOSers.
Root_unban sniper please and remove bodyshots if thats the problem...
I'd be fine with this but only if Fog's servers had one more slot per team. I feel like 4 people per team is too few to have sniper as an option. If it were 5v5, then headshot-only sniper would be fine.
EDIT: Also, why were the gunboats re-allowed? Do people need to practice taking less damage when they rocket jump? Don't they realize that you regain health if you kill someone? Just deal with taking a little extra damage when rjing, and practice aiming (weird concept, I know).
#28 It is most definitely not. I've tried multiple huds, including Omp hud (which as far as I know, is the most up to date hud), and it's the same for all. I believe Omp even confirmed it has been broken since the christmas update. What hud are you using that it works?

I heard that if you turn off the healing indicator (little tiny arrow above the head of the person you are currently healing) then the beam won't disappear anymore. Try that, cause so far it's worked for me.

There are two damage indicators, the floating one, and the one that (usually) is positioned to appear next to your health. The floating one disappears after a few seconds, and up until the update in December, the other one would just remain until you did more damage. However now, both of them disappear at the same time.
