I know for me it'd be hard for a while. But I think after long enough I'd be able to move on with activities that I enjoy outside of gaming, and like Milehigh said, I could at least still watch the amazing casts of games, and I'd still have the tf2 community and all my kickass friends to talk to.
Also, the drummer for Def Leppard, Rick Allen, plays drums better than most people will ever, and with one arm (he has a foot pedal system I think). There's gotta be a way to use your feet to game, I guarantee you someone has come up with something.

I just noticed a note in the steam self updater saying that it might keep trying to install without actually installing if you have an anti-virus real time scanning on. Gonna disable that and try again.

Every time I start up steam (for the last week or so), it takes a minute or two and says "updating steam". Then, once it starts up and I log in, I get the pop up saying that there's a new steam update, and that I should restart steam to install it.
Is steam just getting constant updates? Or is this one in particular just not installing for me?
