#34 How long have you been around? in Off Topic

I played with my friend's account every now and then at his house growing up since release in late 2007, then got my own account when the f2p update came out. I believe my first 800 hours or so were solely on degroot keep, and then I ended up subbing for an iron HL team a week into s10 when I topped the scoreboard on a dustbowl pub. Before that, I had no idea that comp tf2 had existed; it was all cp_orange, dustbowl, and degroot keep for me. Been playing comp ever since :)

I don't think lobbies are a good indication of skill, but thanks for the praise!

#1 TERRY CREWS lft Solly Open in Recruitment (looking for team)

Hello, I am LFT (roamer)

Experience

CEVO:
S4 Open: Friday at 5 - Pocket (Folded)
S5 Open: Butterfly Effect - Pocket (3rd Place)

ESEA:
S15 Open: Tina Belcher and the Uhhhs - Pocket

UGC (lol):
S14-15: Old Spice Girls (Steel/Plat - w/ friends)
S16: Subliminal (Plat)

I'd like to play roamer since I'm more of a HL guy playing 6s, and playing pocket feels pretty awkward to me. I'm pretty good with any offclass other than sniper/spy, I've played them all at one point or another at a high Gold HL level. My shotty aim is pretty lack luster because I play on a laptop. I will do what you think is necessary for me to improve, whether that be DM, MGE, map reviews, and/or demo reviews.
Ideally, I would like to play on a dedicated Mid-High Open team. I don't know really where I'm at in the grand scheme of skills in either CEVO or ESEA, but I'd like some feedback through tryouts. If any IM team miraculously decides that I'm worthy of a tryout/pickup, I can promise you sexual favors from my HL team's pyro.

Hit me up!

#1 LF Pocket Mentor in Mentoring

Hey there, TERRY CREWS here.

I played my first season of 6s after transitioning from HL in CEVO and ESEA Open last season on pocket, but my CEVO team folded about 2 weeks after I joined, and my ESEA team didn't really scrim much, or do too well (We had more forfeit wins than actual wins). I'll be playing in CEVO Open this season again as pocket with a group of friends that will hopefully stick together and actively improve this season, so I'd like to find someone who can help me augment my own play. I'd like to focus on improving my maincalling and positioning first and foremost.

Thanks!

#5 potentially lft demo/pocket/other stuff in Recruitment (looking for team)

Controversial guy, but has skills and insight to back it up. Not only is he good at the game, he can take a team and improve it massively through his analysis. Make sure you have thick skin though, he can be abrasive at times with his directness

#5 SYOPS IM/cevo-p? team needs players in Recruitment (looking for players)

Cheeriss will not let me play roamer for them, but that's probably a good thing. Nice peeps, fun to hang with, and very dedicated to team improvement.
