#2 lethal league in Other Games

I have it, so feel free to add me.

It takes a bit to get used to, but it's a lot of fun. It's probably easier to play with a controller or a fightstick.

#19 ESEA Invite: froyotech vs. Classic Mixup in Events

That was a lot of fun to cast with gecks, and I'm looking forward to possibly doing more in the future. Gecks has very talented play by play.

#15 How do YOU practice? in TF2 General Discussion

I can't really suggest this to most people, but I practice (as medic) by only playing scrims and matches. If I were to pug as medic, my focus would not be as good in pugs because of how casual it is. I (and/or my pug teammates) might do things that wouldn't be smart or optimal in a real match, etc. It's mostly just a thing where any time I play medic, I'm totally focused on trying as hard as I can to stay alive, manage ubers, have solid positioning, and do well. That's why I only play medic in scrims and matches. It's not an act of me being lazy or not liking TF2, I just really feel like it makes me worse to pug as a medic. However, I won't have any issues ringing for friends or another invite team, because at least it feels much more organized than a random pug.

The reason why I say that I can't suggest that to most people is that a lot of people still need to work on a lot of medic skills, which can be accomplished through pugs. Indust pugs as medic religiously, so it's not a bad thing by any means.

All of this also explains why I have only 2000 hours on the game (instead of having 5000+ like everyone else), because holy shit I get that question a lot.

Take off the side of your computer case and find out exactly what is making the noise. That will help tremendously.

HueyLewisWhat does "unplugged your wifi" mean?

I just assumed he meant unplugging an ethernet cable and used the word "wifi" very poorly, lol.

But yeah, you're probably right Huey. It's probably a dying case fan. I think it's possible that in the event that he's unplugging/plugging in the ethernet cable, the force of it being unplugged/plugged in jiggles a dying fan just a little bit.

#20 It's all dull in Off Topic

You're going to college in about a year, which likely means you're around 17 or 18, maybe 19. It's totally normal to not necessarily know what you want to do or what kind of career you really wish to pursue. A lot of different kinds of opportunities are gonna come your way (not just jobs or stuff like that, but anything). I would worry less about not knowing what you wanna do for a job or what you like to do as a hobby, and more about just having a good time and trying out new things.

It just honestly sounds like your everyday activities seem redundant to you, so add something new. Get a boyfriend/girlfriend, become friends with someone new, join a club/gathering (at school or at a friend's house), etc. It's totally fine if a new activity doesn't work out, just keep at it and try something else.

Also, keep in mind that even if you find a new activity, it's not necessarily a bad thing or a failed attempt if you don't stick with it. I played racquetball for about a year (which is incredibly fun, by the way) and then I never really played after that. I got kinda busy with other things and never got back into it, but I'm totally glad that I played for the time being.

Now that I think about it, the loud noises means your computer is mining bitcoins for ESEA.

YOU'RE DONE FOR.

Just because your email has been compromised doesn't mean that your computer has a virus. Change your password and you should be fine. Unless whoever has control of your email has already changed the password, then I dunno, make a new email lol.

I have never heard of a case of a loud noise going away when you disconnect your computer from wifi or anything network related. In fact, I've never heard of any kind of loud noise coming from a computer that was network related.

You're just crazy, Funari.

#12 Samsung Galaxy s3 help. in Off Topic
Dave_to this day, i still don't get why people who aren't tech saavy buy android phones
unless you're willing to accept the learning curve (which isn't that steep) of learning to use one, just don't buy one

that's why apple exists

This.

The android learning curve really isn't that bad at all.

Also, this took a few seconds to google: http://www.androidpit.com/how-to-fix-camera-failed-on-samsung-galaxy-s3

#15 lmao ooookkkkkk in TF2 General Discussion

Generally speaking, most invite players (including myself) don't mind signing weapons for fans or whatever. However, people who have little interest to do anything other than selling signed weapons for a ridiculously inflated price are pretty fucking shitty.

Or maybe I'm just saying this so everyone adds Tagg so he can have 100+ friend requests. :D

#10 The huge QL update in Other Games

I'm a fan of just about everything there is to this update, especially that duel will remain the same as it always has been.

- CTF has improved dramatically with the removal of mines and runes.

- Strafe jumping is still relevant and better than bunny hopping.

- Universal ammo is a pretty cool idea.

- Heavy machine gun. No idea how it is but it's cool that they added a new gun.

- Players can hold their jump button to continuously jump, which is a cool feature from Warsow but really changes nothing. It's just a preference thing.

- The loadout thing adds a different kind of strategy, which I think is pretty cool and makes it more unique. But again, if you don't like it, you can still play classic mode where you spawn with MG.

- Powerup timers appear 10 seconds before they spawn, but better teams who actually time these powerups will still have an advantage, because you need more than 10 seconds to set up for good powerup control.

- Lightning gun does 6 damage instead of 7, and I don't mind this. They tried to do something similar a long time ago with making it do 5/6/7 depending on how close/far the shaft was hitting the enemy. The LG will still see similar use, but it might make some people consider different weapons in certain situations. The LG will still definitely melt people, so no one should overreact about this.

All in all, QL needed a good update like this, so this is good. No harm done, considering if you want to play the classic way, the classic option is available.
