Just a reminder that today is the last day that tickets will be $35 (ending at midnight EST). They will rise to $40 starting tomorrow.
You'll only see $5 increments every two months, up until the final at-the-door price of (I believe) $50. So basically, just hurry up and buy your tickets right meow. :3
flamegames dead. thefragile is the hero tf2 needs
o u :3
This seems kinda over the top for just simply asking her to go to prom, unless you want to be in a relationship.
spaceghostpurrpi got a better idea write "will you go to prom with me" across your stomach and send her a picture of it. if she rejects you tell her it wasnt you. double profit.
I lol'd.
downpouroh also LFT
Are you paid yet? I don't have you down.
drakSince August maybe?
I'm worried it could be something as simple as dust...
Yeah, I haven't heard of any motherboards malfunctioning that quickly, not even close.
I would really try to make absolutely certain it's not both mice dying at once. Try your mice on other computers and try another mouse on your computer with the issues.
SezcoI would like to go, but I'd have to arrange rides to/from the airport, find a roommate or a place to crash, and mooch off multiple peoples setups while at the event.
Worth a long shot, but if anyone is willing, I'll pay you to do this.
Throw me a private message on TFTV, if you wanna talk.
Plenty of time to prepare :]
pwny_If only crossbow hits gave you uber, eh Fragile?
my dreams ._.
drakI don't see how it can be anything but hardware if it's a randomly arising issue. If no changes occur, especially on the software end, then it has to be either the mice, the USB ports, or worst case scenario, the motherboard, correct?
Then, if it's the USB hubs or the motherboard, is there anything I can do besides getting a new motherboard?
Anything to look for on the USB ports or motherboard for indicative damage/problems?
mice: possible but that would be one awful coincidence.
USB ports: also another awful coincidence that all of them would be messing up at the same time. If your keyboard or other USB devices don't have any issues, then there's pretty much no chance it's your USB ports.
motherboard: that's what I'm thinking, which sucks.
I don't think there's really anything you can visually scope out to see if it's the motherboard. It could just be that it's crapping out on you. As previously mentioned, the polling rate was the only other thing to look out for, but if you've changed it all around with the same result, then it indeed might be the motherboard. How long have you had the motherboard for?
drakI forgot to mention: the mouse also occasionally disconnects in simple operations during regular windows usage (yes, also am on Windows 7). I'm guessing it has to do with a power issue at the USB hub/motherboard. What are my potential plans for action here? I'm hesitant to open up my computer, but could it be something as simple as dust?
The problem gets exacerbated by usage. So, trying to repeatedly reconnect/connect the mouse, especially if something intensive is running, will cause the disconnecting to happen much more frequently.
If I were to go into my computer to check for things, what would you say is best to look for?
Again, thanks for all the help so far everyone, I really appreciate it.
Try the mice in a different computer on the ridiculous off-chance that both mice are somehow dying simultaneously (which is very unlikely). Otherwise, it sounds like it's a possible issue with your motherboard (if you're certain it's not your drivers).
Ubersaw.
This game completely revolves around uber, and having the option to shave 10 seconds off your uber build by nailing one melee hit is huge. It doesn't happen often, but it's still a great tool. Hitting an ubersaw when you have at least 75% during an enemy team pushing your last can save you the round.
That is quite weird. I have no idea.
Have you tried other games? Would be pretty weird if it's game specific or even engine specific.
Yeah, I was gonna say that hopefully it isn't a motherboard issue, because thaaaaaat would suck.
However, they appear to be very inconsistent, especially in their recent 5-4 upset loss to 6cuties last week on Process.
wood pig lost to 6c last night on Metalworks, not Process. :]
