I'd go but I'm shit at everything and it's a 20hr drive
It's already been approved by everyone at evo that needs to approve it, I don't see why Nintendo wouldn't approve it/try to hype it up after 125k viewers last year.
^that was last year's EVO, but I think it had something to do with just not wanting anyone to make any kind of money off of their game that aren't Nintendo themselves. Or they are just jerks, I dunno.

Sure, I think HRG was thrown off just a little bit by going from QF to the traditional style in less than a week, but the former reason I mentioned had much more to do with it. In fact, I still think the result would have been the same even if the QF never existed.
What do you mean by depth?
A mixture of versatility, skill, and fluency. Less weak areas, etc.

There were some hiccups but I think we proved that on-site coverage for a TF2 LAN can look professional and still be practical + efficient. As Jeff said, I'll put up a more general feedback thread at some point to discuss what we could do better and what people would like to see in our casts going forward.
I think you are being too modest, I just went through and watched a lot of the cast and it really does represent some of the most efficient, professional, effective casting and production TF2 has seen to date. It completely blows anything tf.tv has done out of the water in terms of production value.

You guys did an awesome job and the presentation was quite fantastic. Sure, there were hiccups, but those were very minimal and didn't really put a dent in how great everything else became.
