BigToeInteresting. I can't seem to decide which is funnier, the video or the fact that you made a caricature of yourself.
Haha, I bought that golden vest that with that mad YouTube money.

After making a lot of TF2 content, I was sitting on my bed contemplating what would be fun to make. I accidently uttered out "Game Reviews" in my native Indian accent, and I immediately got to work.
Btw, I hope no one finds the accent/content in this video offensive, I was poking fun at my own accent and some stereotypes people always make fun of me in real life for.
I hope you guys like it :D
-Mike-In this day and age you have to be funny right off the bat. Like some vine shit.
Yeah, I can understand that. I guess for me a lot of people on here showed some heavy love and affection and this is the first time someone has bashed the video outright, and I LOVE IT! Haha, this is the first time anyone from tf.tv has said anything negatively towards a new show idea and this helps me out so much, I now know that I should improve the quality of the content or stick to different things.
mi think the rule of thumb is unless its the funniest thing youve ever seen or featuring well-known comp players most pub-based videos will not be popular on tftv
keep trying though
Yeah that makes a lot of sense, and i'll always keep trying to entertain haha, i'm not the type to give up if something fails :)
remedythis is a competitive tf2 forum, chances are people are gonna say mean things about u if you post these vids here
Yeah, I kinda figured but I wanted to post this away from General Discussion and other sub-forums, felt like off-topic is where people went to have a good laugh or two about random topics!
potstop doing these
Haha I usually do commentary but I decided to try something new and test the waters. So far it seems extremely half and half on people wanting it and not wanting it, i've never done something like this before so I guess there's a first time for everything.

Had an idea to make this during my math class and I couldn't resist.
ALSO: A lot of you didn't like this, that's good haha, it shows me that I need to refocus on other types of videos and stay away from this content until I get better at this kind of stuff, so don't feel bad about bashing on it or down-fragging it, I appreciate the thoughts regardless :)
First off, I do NOT know if this belongs here. I have however seen a bunch of posts with playlists and other fun stuff on the General Discussion so this might not be too far off point!
Now to get to the main topic at hand, most of you know me from my first impressions on TF2 and I slowly got into the game and dedicated my YouTube channel to create videos about TF2 and I even went as far as starting my own comp. team, through it all you guys were a tremendous support!
Aside from most of the comedy videos on my channel, I really wanted to try commentating. So I recently put out this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RaZROMoGrFY
It's my first attempt at commentating through a live game, no edits, no cuts, just practicing commentary.
I have a 2nd attempt up as well, but I REALLY wanted to know these specific things:
[*] How is the quality of the voice?
[*] Was the commentary interesting?
[*] What are some things I can do to improve?
Like I stated before, i'm not sure where this goes, if I accidentally posted this in the wrong place, i'd love for this be moved without any fuss!
Thank you :D

Most of you know me as the guy that started playing TF2 LITERALLY 2 weeks ago, made content and started his comp. team, now I actually have a game that I played on my stream today, and that is a 14 min scrimmage round against a team that was Iron. We are an Iron team as well!
Some things people told me during the stream:
1) Use Mad Milk more often.
2) Stick with the team, even as a Scout.
That's what I mainly saw from the chat, and I played as the Scout. He's my most played class with nearly ~10-11 hours!
I'd love to know if you guys can give me pointers and tips on how I can play better and improve my gameplay, thank you :D
IARENOBODYI've watched the quality grow from an unorganized jumbled production to a formulated work of art and comedy. I'm loving this guy. The video intro is amazing.
Thank you so much for the kind words man, means a lot!
BitOne of the best things to happen to tf2, always positive and never feels insulted, just trying to please everyone. Live long and prosper
Aww, this made me smile and become a lot happier! Comments like these motivate me to do what I do, thank you guys for the support!
Engineer spot filled, just need a good spy!
bscin my experience tf2 has always been super difficult and cut throat :[
I'm not going to deny the super difficult part, but it doesn't have to be cut throat and stressful at all, in DDD, I want everyone to contribute and learn from mistakes, essentially I want the team to obviously succeed where we do scrims/practice BUT I also want them to realize that losses and failures are just small setbacks if you can isolate them and work on those mistakes to improve yourself further down the road!
TL;DR Let's change the way comp. TF2 works and have some fun doing it!
How's it going everyone,
First and foremost I want to introduce the team for those who are interested in joining, it is a team lead by a player who only has ~20 hour experience in the game and is playing as the Scout! I know, you read this far and are probably turned off by the idea BUT we have some amazing people on our roster and we have a lot of support from the community, this team will be:
1. On YouTube
2. Casted
3. Streamed
It's a team where I need YOU guys to have fun when playing, comp. TF2 doesn't ALWAYS have to be super difficult and cut throat to participate in, I need a:
1. Spy
2. Engineer
Anyone whose wanting to get on this team also needs to understand the concept of having a good time when playing, I don't want people on the team to get discouraged with losses, I want that to motivate you guys to perform better the next time we play another match!
Along with all that, we have a timezone rule, obviously we have backups but i'd prefer it if you had free time so you can be flexible when times are announced, remember, I AM in PST but that doesn't have to limit your timezone, just realize where i'm from and understand why the times are set the way they are!
If you would like to actually apply for the group/find the rest of the team, please check: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/DoubleDeckerD
OR
Post here with your hours/Spy or Engineer/time zone!
Also, I don't know if this a good time to bring this up but I would really like the opinion of the community on this. When I first started making videos and it expanded to more series and whatnot, I saw that the viewership is decreasing, and it eventually hit a pretty low point where I can't fathom the problem. I'd love to know if you guys can give me tips on how to improve:
1. My Commentary/Video Content
2. My Stream Commentary/Content
I'm always looking to improve, and as a small gaming channel, i'd love to get the community that supported me the most to kind of tell me what i'm doing wrong and what I can do to improve!
KevinIsPwnStapler's a great guy, bound to be a really fun iron team if you're decent at a class and want to get better.
Thank you Kevin, and same can be said about you!
On the note of the Iron team, we are currently looking for 5 more players, if you're interested let me know in this post and we can communicate further!
