that's just his main?
Forty-Bot+ some option to filter 6v6/hl/2v2 games out from the rest when checking a player
that would be way cooler than looking at the divisions on etf2l for europeans, in case of burgers there is probably no good way to do that atm
no idea about apac
ps: this is probably the biggest issue why we don't have a european pickup site atm
I want to start scraping RGL at some point (see this issue). Unfortunately, RGL doesn't really have an API, so I'd have to scrape their site :l. Honestly, if ETF2L has an API I would look into them first.
glasscouple things i noticed
-tried filtering blaze's logs down to just soldier on product in the logs.tf era, and it returned nothing
-is there a way to generate winrate after filtering out ultiduo and stuff?
-b4nny has 283% acc on pyro
-class stats seem inaccurate. it is claiming arrek is undefeated on sniper, n=5. is that like, logs where he played majority sniper
cheers. don't change the design. every website built after 2010 looks like shit
the pyro acc is possible because of the detonator or other flare guns
This looks very sick, finally a reason to play all these unplayed single player games from Humble Bundles etc.
dbktheyre so confident for how it turned out last time
the faceit 6v6 platform before b4nny got involved was fine (at least in EU), just not enough people played it
arcadiaIt depends sort of. The method servers to illustrate the larger trends, as its hard to exactly make everyone perfectly next to every person they share logs with. The generation is randomly seeded so you can get shuffled next to lots of random people but on the whole the grouping will always trend the same way
Yeah makes sense, can see some general trends. Anyways nice work!
arcadiaBingo on the first. The closer you are to someone the more logs you share with that person. Simple as that
Could be just me, but that doesn't look very accurate looking at myself and some other people.
EU Clash:
I already mentioned this to Jon but the first weekend the games (in swiss) were very good in general. Only our first game wasn't really fair since we had to play a open/low etf2l team. I feel like this could've been prevented when you put the top half of the teams in a hidden group so they can only play each other in the first round. I believe ETF2L does something similar in the first week of swiss.
The schedule of the second weekend wasn't very good for most of the open teams that made it to playoffs. Since half of the open teams dropped before the second weekend even started I think it's a good idea to think about alternatives for the (playoffs) schedule. We dropped as well but if we had played our schedule would be this:
First BO3 match at 15cest against a div 1 team, probably would've been a quick roll which means we have to wait around 2.5 hours for the first BO1 lower bracket match. The team we had to play dropped as well > waiting another hour and 15 minutes. The next BO1 at 19:30 was against another prem/div 1 team, so a 15 min game max and you're done.
The problem is not that the games aren't close cause that's just what happens when most open teams play in invite bracket. But in our case people didn't want to reserve a big part of the Saturday just to wait the majority of the time. Maybe this can be fixed by moving the first two rounds of playoffs (so round 1 upper bracket and round 1 lower brocket) to the same day as the last few swiss games.
The first weekend went very smooth however, also production was very good. Thanks to all the people involved
There used to be tactics.tf, but it has been down for a couple of years now.
How can I edit my submission?
I don't think Valve will change much as long as they can make (loads of) money from it. Right now it looks like the only thing that can stop Valve from supporting loot boxes are the governments of each country. Three years ago Valve had to shut down the loot boxes in the Netherlands and Belgium because there's a Betting and Gaming Act against it. We can still find loot boxes but we can't open or trade them:
Psyonix/Epic also removed the loot boxes in Rocket League like 1.5 years ago, replacing them with blueprints so you can always see what you are getting.
