last season the lakers had kobe and bynum (who is probably just as good as dwight), and they still got shit on by the thunder. Steve nash will be a real upgrade though. they will get to the finals, and lose to the heat.
well, there goes any chance of the heat not winning

If people think ochem is memorization (outside of naming molecules, which doesnt really matter that much), you are doing it wrong.
The key to chemistry is learning the concepts. Once you learn the conspets, you can apply it to situations you have never seen before.
I have known people who spend all thier time memorizing individual reactions. Stuff like : if you react bromoethane with sodium cyanide in acetone, then the product is cyanoethane and sodium bromide.
And actually if you learn the concepts of when you have a good leaving group (bromine) and a good nucleophile (cyanide) in the same reacvtion mixture, you will get a substitution reaction. Its that simple.
jack off
waefwaefTrekkie teach me reaction prediction.
you mean looking at 2 reactants and figuring out what the products will be? Give me some example questions and i will show you how to do it.
Ask me chemistry questions. I will help you.
Also I should say that taking chemistry is important because I believe we should strive for a society where people are versed in basic science and scientific principles.
How can people make informed decisions about things if they dont understand the basic underlying principles?
It puts the calc homework in the basket. It does this whenever it's asked.
