Entered university in Computer Science and transferred to English after a year. If I had a regret it's not that I know some Python and Scheme now. It's not even the hard skills that help you (actually it's definitely not), but the mindset that you get from it which serves you well later on.

Sad to hear. The competitive FPS scene isn't as great as it used to be, so I think any new contenders should be given a good look, even more now that Steam is involved. Nexiuz/Xotic(?) was a bit of a mess admittedly, but hey, I'll download the Shootmania demo for sure. I really want to like it.

If it's half as customizable as the trailer claims it is, it looks worth a shot.

I pretty much ate shit throughout middle school due to a severe speech impediment. The way I see it, it either chews away at you or your skin grows thick. I never got clinically depressed, but that doesn't mean I was happy either.

Yeah, bullies are a problem. I agree with the message that sometimes there isn't jack you can do. Some kid mocked my speech at the bus stop back in middle school and got the entire busload of kids laughing at me all the way to school. I'm not forgetting that. If the term 'grin and bear it' wasn't coined for situations like that, I don't know what it's for. Am I gonna yell at them? Like I could get a single word out under that kind of pressure. Start a fight? I wasn't raised like that. Tell a teacher? I'd get shit on even more. They've got you by the balls, really.

I have a board of MX Blacks and it's a pain in the butt to type on, so avoid those keyswitches. The actuation force is huge.

That's a good idea, however, maybe changing colours would work better since it's on a stream and people have to deal with some blockiness. Some people can only manage like 360p or something, so for RED, say warmer colours indicate more HP, and cooler for BLU may be more effective.

All in all, great work on the plugin!

They're usually simple ones, like the dot/cross in parentheses, or a plain cross/dot. Less stuff on the screen. But do find one that you like personally. Broeselhud has built in HUD crosshairs, or you can modify the default TF2 ones.

Me too. What is it with that taunt anyway? The beams of light certainly don't look spectacular, and I'm pretty sure they fixed that water sound explosion thing with it.

I find how they (or maybe it's that one guy) say "the <class> of <playername>" strange yet endearing.
