"We'll ask again later."
No one is encouraging you to give up, everyone starts somewhere. However, to further explain what Kaneco and I have said about "frag quality", frag movies are NOT someone picking out a bunch of frags from one or two games. Many frag movies are the culmination of the best frags someone has got over the period of a month, or a few months, or some frag movies have highlights over an entire year(s) - extending through multiple seasons and teams.
Also, I don't entirely agree with Kaneco and supercell when they say that lobby frags shouldn't be used. If you hit a triple airshot or some ridiculous across the map rocket, you can't belittle it by saying "oh it was just a lobby." If the frags look impressive, it's fine - especially if you're just starting out.
If you're okay with criticism these are my personal thoughts on the video you just linked.
1.) The music is too loud. I can't tell if it was intentional to have no sound until towards the end in-game or if it was a demo problem, but I couldn't hear any of it.
2.) voice_enable 0 always for recording purposes.
3.) It's (mostly) a personal preference, but watching frags in third person perspective is almost always boring.
4.) If you're just doing frags + music it's fine to have your hud/crosshair/cfg that you use in-game. Otherwise, you're going to want to use different settings. Either the default or no crosshair, no damage numbers or easier to see damage numbers, etc. Use Lawena's recording tool and it will fix most of these problems.
Also, I'm not trying to be rude but these frags are really unimpressive. Again, I'm not trying to be mean but you should watch other frag movies to get a feel for what people normally think of as "frag movie material." Our Frag Clips Thread has plenty of examples of these types of frags. Since you play soldier, here's a few simply edited soldier videos to use as reference.

edit: fuck ninja'd
WhiteDo I have to have/use certain music? What about editing/syncing and that stuff?
Just be worried about colors, frags, and music. When I say music, I mean just be sure that the music matches the pace of the video - you do not have to play a Starry Eyed remix or something just because everyone else has.
Just remember that there's nothing wrong with simple edits, I prefer them personally. However, a mistake a lot of newcomers make is over-editing to the point of making an abomination.
I'd be excited to see your video when it's done, feel free to link it both here and in the "Frag Clips" thread.
I always thought Fair to Midland would have fun songs to use in frag movies. Then again, I don't really like electronic music so you can ignore me.
Persistent homeless people always make me feel awkward. I was in line for a concert when someone asked me for some spare change. I just brush him off saying "I don't have anything." Dude just looks at me incredulously and starts asking me questions like "so you already bought your ticket?"
Holy shit, stop making me feel guilty.
Had a good friend that I'd hang out with every week in high school and we didn't keep in touch at all after high school. At one point we used to play MTG together and we'd both invested quite a bit of money in the game. I pretty much only played MTG with this person and his friends, so I always left my cards at his place. I call him up about 2 months into my freshman year in college (we literally hadn't spoken a word to each other since we graduated high school) to make small talk and ask to meet up and hang out. I bring up the subject of wanting to sell the cards I'd played with and it turns out he ended up selling my cards (probably a few hundred dollars worth) for drug money. We both felt awkward and he kind of had a backhanded apology where he was sorry about doing it but didn't really want to accommodate for it. I didn't press the issue too much, as I saw he changed a ton already even though it hasn't been even a year since he's been living on his own. We haven't spoke to each other since.
marmadukeGRYLLSguys i googled "bhop cheat" and bhop cheated on an alt in cs:s 6 years ago. i wanted to be phoon. pls forgive.

The thread has almost come full circle. We just need the "you're not sorry" posts and we can be done.
how poorly optimized this game is
it rivals tribes ascend and natural selection 2 for shitty framerate
You should be able to do PRACTICAL rocketjumps fine with that sens, if that is your concern. A quick question of my own, though. Do any good jumpers actually use low sensitivities (12+ inches is my definition)? I've played a few of the harder jump maps where I've thought it's near-impossible with a low sens and had to raise it just for jumping.
How is a pug more relevant than a lobby? Is it just our community's general elitism that "pugs are real games" and lobbies are to fuck around in that makes it okay to cheat in one but not the other?
phobiawarclowd cheated and nobody gave a fuck, i say just give him another chance imo
Were you even around during all of the hackusation threads? Be it warclowd, ametrine, hoegie, beat, or as far back as ezell the threads always blew up and we had this same discussion about cheating every time. The only difference is that a lot of time has passed for those players. I agree with the ETF2L policy of banning for a year or so when a player is caught cheating.
