Whenever someone joins the server I crash.
Time to watch Army of Wltrs again and imagine how much he flailed his arm around.
Has good dm and it's improving constantly. Easily IM scout.
The best singing soldier.
I can confirm the zalman has really good audio for being like $7. The only problem is the small hum it seems to continuously play. If you use a PTT key (which for the sake of your team, you should anyway) it's not that noticeable. If you're doing a lot of skype calls and stuff though it might become kind of annoying. The clip is also fairly large, if you're using earbuds or something you might have trouble finding a comfortable spot to clip the mic on.
KhakiI'll trade you computers
AMD athlon 64 X2 dual core 3.1ghz
ATI Radeon HD 4600 1gb
6gb 1066 ram
About the same here,
AMD athlon II x2 dual core 3ghz
NVIDIA geforce 9800
4gb ram
500fps in TF2...I can't even pull a constant 60 at midfights.
Platinumcounter jump shotty to the face
And they told me playing gay in bball didn't help in games.
All of the players on this team have fantastic DM. Shootist is a perfect balance of a fun personality and legitimate dedication to the game.
TF2 doesn't utilize multicore well. Along with the game having poor optimization I'm slowly getting less and less FPS in this game, to the point where maps like cp_obsure I get 80fps max. Playing the new koth_lakeside in a full pub gives me between 10-30fps depending on what is going on.
If investing in a better CPU isn't an option at the moment, you should try minimizing CPU usage in other areas. The mat_viewportscale is ultimately for people limited by their GPU and that obviously isn't the case for you. You can try disabling all non-microsoft services and startup through MSconfig to get a bit of a boost. Defrag TF2 and your drive, check for errors in TF2 and any compatibility issues that might be bogging down your system.
If you find any secret cfg option or something that fixes this problem for you, please share it with me. But I think the only real "fix" is a different CPU :/
Got a free mumble server from buying a TF2 server but I really have no need for it. If any upcoming teams or anything need their own mumble server just leave a message here and I'll give you the info as well as admin. The mumble server lasts as long as the TF2 server is paid for, so you're guaranteed at least 6 months at this point.
If you're interested, please say why. I'd much rather give the server away to a new team that doesn't have their own mumble rather than someone who wants a secondary server for their own private wants.
defiancemustardoverlordI was doing ok until I saw:You make a lot of assumptions when reading and then you call somebody an idiot, talk about irony. I know you are hardcore and come from the Bronx, but having a kid doesn't mean you will have to give up your life and be nothing. I know plenty of people that have had kids when they were young and still made something out of their life. One of my friends grew up with no father and his mom had him when she was 16. She now owns multiple businesses and is pretty close to being what people would call "rich". But hey maybe she should have just drowned in her sorrows and became a hooker to support him. Being responsible about it doesn't mean keeping it and it doesn't even mean not having it aborted. But if his girlfriend wanted to keep it then there would be some responsibility required of him, or maybe in your mind he should just tell her fuck you and play tf2 100 hours a week. Even if they decided to put the kid up for adoption, you don't think that would be responsible? You don't think that one day he could be happy that he made a child and that child had a happy life with another family? Nah you are right, he should just say fuck it and be depressed the rest of his life. Just drop out of school now and give up, have fun working at McDonald's forever.
defiancestupidfirstaltI'm in highschool and me and my girlfriend had sex twice this month, and I wore a condom both times. She missed he period and she might be pregnant. So my life might become a living hell soon. I'm not sure what will happen if she really is pregnant.Having a child means your life will be a living hell? I'm not exactly sure if that is what you mean, but if it is, grow up and deal with your decisions. If you are worried about your parents reaction (or maybe her dad is going to murder you), don't be. Most parents will eventually get over it. Just be responsible and one day you'll probably be really happy about this "mistake".
what the fuck is your problem? a HIGH SCHOOL kid has sex WITH A CONDOM, STILL may have knocked up his girl, and you say "MAN UP BITCH, IT WILL BE FINE"
IT DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY
problems won't just go away
and the dude's decision was to use protection so he basically got fucked by the mysterious forces of the universe
and to say that the only "responsible" thing to do in this situation is to raise the kid, prolly dropping out of school?
you're an idiot
I'm not saying it's not fucked up at all or that its not a shitty situation. He didn't really do anything wrong and like you said he did wear a condom. I'm just trying to point out that through all the bullshit he's going to have to deal with, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
The vast majority of teen parents do not end up with that glamorous of a life. Being a single mom and being able to care for your child by yourself while attending college and then working to pay off both your tuition and essentially support 2 people is unfathomable. Either she didn't attend much schooling and got an insanely lucky business opportunity or she had rich supportive parents. So I find your 1 in a billion example really shallow. Only one-third of teen mothers complete highschool.
