Check if the hl2.exe process is still running in task manager and end it if it is. I've had it happen a few times where hl2.exe will be running despite no application being up.

It's what Diablo 3 should have been like. It's really fun. The skill system is a lot different from D3/T2 - your active skills are from gems which you can place into sockets on your items and level them up through repeated use. There is also a more traditional skill tree for passive attributes. It's fucking huge, someone linked it on the first page if you haven't seen it.

Dark Messiah had an awesome combat system, though. Game was buggy as fuck and the story was bland, but the combat was fun.

As for the topic, it's most likely going to be a fun but mediocre MMO and nothing special. After having ridiculously high expectations for Guild Wars 2 after all of the hype, the crushing disappointment was too much for me to play an otherwise decent game. That and the fact it was fucking nothing like Guild Wars.

Change the config.cfg file to your preferred settings and set it to read only. Everyone has a config.cfg. It serves to store all of your in-game personal settings like mouse sensitivity, interp, rates, etc. When you change these settings in-game it changes the settings in the config.cfg unless you have it set to "read only" or if you crash on exit.

If for some reason you really can't change anything, you can delete your config folder and put -autoconfig (just on the first launch) in your launch options. Everything should be at their default settings and then you can change things from there.

You have a nice voice and I really liked the guitar composition. The only thing I didn't like was the guitar panned hard right starting around 3:00. It took all my focus away from the rest of the song and felt unbalanced.

Depends on what type of game you're looking for. Magicka can be a fun 4 player co-op game. If you're really into old RPG's it's super fun to make a party in Neverwinter Nights (2) or Baldur's Gate (2) and all play together in mumble.

I can't think of many fun co-op FPS games off the top of my head as far as co-op campaign goes.
