#7 Best large cloth mousepad? in Hardware

I had a Goliathus Control also and even though it was nice to play on it did wear down very quickly, I know it's probably not the best test subject but my cat easily tore into it and there was wear around where my wrist would be.

#3 Best large cloth mousepad? in Hardware

I have the PCGR XL, it's actually really really good, stitched edges, nice rubber base and it's a good price too. I have no issues with comfort or anything and I have a collection of big mousemats.

#5 Keyboards questions in Hardware

Any CM Quickfire will do, they are cheap and very good.

If you're unsure on switches, reds are ones that I guess are preferred for gaming, with browns and blacks following.

blues are awesome if you want to give the impression that you're doing something mega important and quick.

#14 Dr Levi on mouse sensitivity in Off Topic

I really like the the section where he talks about high sensitivity causing issues as you flick with your wrist a lot more causing a lot of strain, I do find when I play soldier that I flick a lot more and it then causes a bit of stiffness in the wrist from it. I'll be swapping to a lower sens in general now.

The mouse section is pretty good, hopefully we get a dr. levi approved gaming mouse.

#15 Wireless mouse testing in Hardware

It really stings for Razer and Steelseries as I feel their products have been quite far behind in comparison to Zowie, Logitech etc.

Even though I'm not a fan of Logitech's design they really do push the boundaries on what is technically achievable.

I ordered mine and I'll review it in some retarded way.

#7 Best mouse for durability? in Hardware

CM Sentinel 3 is a very solid mouse, is a bit on the heavy side and the sensor isn't the best available.

Another really good one is the Mionix Castor, it's incredibly well made and at the moment I cannot fault it's quality but it's probably over your budget.

If you don't want to stretch much more than £40 then I'd recommend:

Gigabyte XM300 - Pretty much a DA clone uses a 3988 sensor

CM Sentinel 3 - More palm grip shape, heavy as stated and a 3988 sensor

Zowie mice are also worth a shout but some do have a few flaws, mainly with scroll wheels not being the greatest, but most are fine and should last you a while.

#15 I58 Computer Security in LAN Discussion
omniInsomnia event security is pretty tight, honestly. They check all bags, plastic, backpacks, whatever. You could get a mouse or something stolen, sure, and that would suck, but your computer? Not likely. Not ruling it out completely, but you're 99.9% safe leaving your PC.

Hell, one time I didn't lock my computer and some dude I didn't know who didn't play tf2 locked it for me instead of trying to steal my virtual pixel hats.

iSeries is a good place to be.

Not exactly saying this is 100% correct but I have been able to leave the area every time I go without a sticker on a PC or laptop.

It isn't 100% safe by any means at all but it doesn't mean that people go around nicking shit, to get in to the BYOC areas you have to have a weekend pass I think now, so you can only steal a PC or laptop if you paid for a full weekend ticket.

Just take anything that you can take back with you as well. But I've not had anything nicked but I have had a friend that has had a mouse and headset stolen.
