PIzzzaMy name is Alexis.
And this school year i have been marked absent 10 times in different classes because substitute teachers never believe that I just have a girls name and think I'm just answering the roll for when they call 'Alexis' for a female friend.
and I have been Assigned Detention from 4:15-8:00 PM this Friday for having 'Unexcused Absences."
I hate this school

Grade 11, I was almost late to class. Skipped grabbing my books from my locker so that I wouldn't miss the instructions for our lesson, because the teacher refused to repeat or explain anything beyond initial instructions.
When I asked to go get my books from my locker, he told me off for not showing up with them and said I wasn't allowed to leave the room for the rest of class. Ten minutes later, he berated me for not doing anything in class, and sent me to the office for seat-warming with a recommendation for ISS.
I had to sit down with the two vice-principals (one of whom was the aforementioned teacher) and explain myself. I was belligerently asked if I was retarded, before I could even get a word in, and then subsequently told that my behaviour was inexcusible.
I should have written a letter recommending the teacher for seatwarming, since he literally refused to offer any assistance; his favourite thing to say was "If you don't understand what I wanted you to do, it's your fault. Go figure out the assignment on your own."
