It's not a launch option. mat_phong is a convar, all you need to do is put mat_phong 0 in your fps config, you can put it directly in the console for comparison, though it takes a while to remove all phongs from the map.

Pretty much what thrasher said. About 5 years ago my dad bought some mediocre prebuilt computer from them, and when we unboxed it the case was completely trashed, corners were bent, pockmarked, basically looked like someone had thrown it into the back of a truck and then repackaged it on arrival. BestBuy refused to do anything about it, complaining that it was somehow our fault and because we didn't have evidence that WE didn't repackage it. So yeah, I have no moral problems with exploiting this further.

Dragon Age Origins, Saints Row 3 with all the DLCs, GTA IV, Just Cause 2, saving the last of it for something beyond amazing.
#21, dingo posted some scrims with it, it worked really well for the most part
I just want to see how effective counterjumping gets for pockets, because if you get bombed, you could legitimately just fling your medic somewhere and the roamer would be a free pick.
I believe this is more relevant

Basically, a it's a newish way of doing lighting, the specifics of which don't really matter. What does matter, is that we can now turn them off, for the almighty fps.
That's the server
Tf2mix is #tf2mix, pugna is #tf2.pug.na
Connect by typing /j #tf2mix or /j #tf2.pug.na in chat.
I have the same problem, it's with the Source game browser. For whatever reason, all ~3000 of the tf2 servers which show up in the browser are pinged at the exact same time, and every time you refresh, it does it again. This effectively DDOS's your router, which bottlenecks the shit out of your net, to the point where you basically can't use it. Luckily, in response to this, valve made a limiter to how often servers can ping you which is here:
Set it to something like 1000 and it you won't see any noticeable change in net speed when refreshing the browser. It still loads servers reasonably fast.

Also, can we have some kind of a conglomerated cringe thread?

Basically talks about how they're talking about how they're going to actually start adding shit from the steam workshop.
I'm just trying to comprehend right now, what would actually happen to this game is they added 64 new weapons. No hats, no reskins, no miscs. All new weapons, with new stats. Just think about how much that would fuck up every aspect of this game, from sourcemods (updating to allow for them) to the economy aspect (No one would have all of them) to the actual game (No one would know what they do). That would be absolutely hilarious.
Invite will always have a significantly larger prize pot because of lan. Believe it or not, it costs more money to fly 6 people to dallas and pay for 2(?) days at hotels than to have people play from home.
