you are free to believe whatever you want and do whatever you want with your own money, but in the end, you are still being severely unfair to dozens and dozens of genuine people (and not to mention an entire charity and the sick kids it represents) who have absolutely nothing to do with the FT situation.

are you honestly putting down the effort and time and money people have put into this event because of situations that have absolutely nothing to do with this event? this is for a good cause from the good of the community's heart. if you don't agree with what FT did, fine. but don't take it out on the good intentions of this community because you're being spiteful.
