I'd just like to remind you guys that seanbud's charity stream is still a thing. Please don't misdirect your anger for Fully Torqued's dick move towards OneStepCamp and not donate/contribute.
We've been doing an excellent job so far; I'm scared that this event will decrease the community support that's been pouring in so far. Let's get some kids to camp!
and sorry for the billionth thread based on this subject.

Yeah, I'm definitely still up to support the event and wish Seanbud the best in running it, despite the absolute fucking horseshit that took place tonight.

Don't let the bad things spiral into ruining what good there is. This is a great event that's been put together and it's requires a big showing by the community to succeed. If bitterness towards FT turns you away from this, then grow up and remember this is an unrelated event raising money for kids in need.
Also you have a chance at winning the gunblade from AGDQ, along with many other things. So it's a win for everyone.

Will donate for an official apology by Fully Torqued to everyone their actions have disappointed. Especially John.

I don't think anyone is dumb enough to take out what happened on kids who need charity help. We as a community can at least assume we aren't that depraved.
I don't see the charity as an FT thing, it's a seanbud thing, and there should be no reason to take anything out on him and his charity.

seanbudclockwork calling us out during the end about our team not caring for the community after all the shit i've done this season, and in fact all the way back to last january when i started stream, is what i'm most upset about.
i'm talking with cbear about being on fully charged to plug the charity and maybe we will go over tonight's shitfest.
you won't see anything else posted from me or anyone on my team regarding what happened tonight. i will let you guys contemplate whether its a good idea to do all the speculation and letting clockwork spew all that shit without anyone ever bothering to ask us why we did what we did. there were no malicious intentions we thought people would enjoy seeing a fun match.
really did not see this coming.
Alright, first of all, I NEVER said you guys did nothing for the community. You probably need to listen again if that's what you think. I said you guys formed on the basis that you were for the community, and what you just did was the exact opposite. And that's 100% the truth. I apologized for dropping...unfortunate words. By myself. Where's the post where you guys apologize for doing that, giving your side of the story? Because I don't see it. At the end of the day, I'm sorry if I offended your team. But I think trying to shift blame when you should be apologizing is unwise.

With all due respect, how is staying silent about what happened the best course of action to take? How can you say nobody is asking to know why you did what you did? EVERYONE WANTS TO KNOW WHY YOU GUYS DID WHAT YOU DID. That's why the stream and forums have so many angry, upset, and disappointed community members talking about what happened at this hour.
Honestly this just sounds like a huge cop out. The facts are out there and against Fully Torqued.

Just give it some time people will calm down. Then everything will be cleared up - + the charity stream isn't happening for several months, and LAN will already be over and we'll prolly have 5 new invite teams if I've got my dates right.

Your teams true colors are starting to show, and you guys can try to mask your real reasons for your actions but it is honestly all just bullshit at this point.
EDIT: also please donate to the charity

While I don't think this will have any major ramifications on the success of the charity perhaps it would be worth considering to not have seanbud/FT be quite as prominent in its planning and eventual execution?

i would like to believe seanbud wasn't a big factor in tonight as he's a pretty chill guy IMO, and FT as a team wasn't associated with the event in the first place. no reason to cut sean out tbh.

No. What happen tonight and the charity stream are 2 independent things..

As individuals I actually like a lot of the Fully Torqued guys, but as a team it's like a whole different animal.

regardless of what happened tonight and the now overwhelmingly-negative public opinion of FT that has crept up, the charity thing is a pretty awesome initiative and a super cool thing for sean to devote his time to doing.
it's for a good cause, sean is doing it for good and selfless reasons, it has 0 affiliation with his team, it has 0 affiliation with the match played a few hours ago, it has nothing but good behind it. despite the oodles of drama between us and FT now, i'm pretty sure both myself and cbear will still be donating money and donating our time to the event and if you had any intentions of doing that as well, you shouldn't be swayed by anything from tonight.

Absolutely agreed, my only concern was that said negative opinion would be harmful to a good cause. We'll just have to make sure that doesn't happen.

In case you're wondering, this is why everyone is minus-fragging this post. That game was like the washington generals vs the globetrotters. You guys laid down, spread eagle, and accepted that 5-0 face roll without the slightest resistance. It's embarrassing to think you would try to come on here afterwards and pretend you expected it to be a good game or a "fun match" as you put it. Bl4nk literally shut his stream off after 2 minutes it was so bad. So don't pretend like you did this for us to watch a fun, kooky match. I don't know if you did it purely to spite the casts or to throw the match for LAN implications, but either way it was gross to watch.

I'm pretty disgusted with what ft pulled. I was a big ft fan, but after what they pulled. I can no longer support seanbud or his quest for charity (which is probably just smoke and mirrors to get a community weapon in tf2). I rather my donations so somewhere else. GG guys for killing what was left of tf2 comp.

Just because the person supporting a good cause is a douchebag doesn't mean that the cause is immediately tainted. Still share the love, because kids with cancer going to camp is hella worth it.

are you honestly putting down the effort and time and money people have put into this event because of situations that have absolutely nothing to do with this event? this is for a good cause from the good of the community's heart. if you don't agree with what FT did, fine. but don't take it out on the good intentions of this community because you're being spiteful.

I'm not sure of his integrity anymore. Thus I cannot support when his actions speak louder than words. I was on the fence of donating, and I've donated to other causes such as child play for the celebrity mix up match. Again, I think I'll skip out on this one this time.

you are free to believe whatever you want and do whatever you want with your own money, but in the end, you are still being severely unfair to dozens and dozens of genuine people (and not to mention an entire charity and the sick kids it represents) who have absolutely nothing to do with the FT situation.

I plan on joining in and donating and I don't think this event should dissuade most of us who already planned to go to the charity. To anyone who thinks this charity event is suddenly corrupt because of this event is obviously closed minded and needs to promptly remove their head from their asses.
However I do see a problem if this line of thinking
seanbudyou won't see anything else posted from me or anyone on my team regarding what happened tonight.
persists.
Right now, seanbud's stream is the main spot for donations/advertising and, if this attitude persists, I don't see a time in the immediate future where his chat wouldn't be eventually filled with people flaming and/or asking for answers. I can also say that a lot of people may have reservations watching sean's stream with regularity again (Myself included, cbear making an apology thread while FT refusing to possibly ever comment doesn't sit well with me).
The problem that may arise is that the charity could possibly become about FT hate through association which would be horrible.
