That's why big LANs should not be hosted in countries with anal visa rules. Same problems were with visas for DOTA international but Valve is american company so they asked senator to help with it and it was resolved(also they care much more about dota). I think UK is one of the hardest EU country to get visa for. Host it in Germany or Lithuania (they already do some LANs anyway) and not only it would be easier to get a visa it would also reduce a travel/stay cost by a lot for most of the EU players.
Why LoL though, DOTA2 is f2p as well and no hero unlocks.
Cmon, lets hate TF2C, who cares about reasons.
Serv0 choked hard in game hope they sort it out before i55, with only 2 USA teams I would like to see more competitive lineup for bigger hype
I think it is obvious that with success of Hearthstone Blizzard wants to apply the same formula to other genres be it MOBAs (HoS) or arena shooter. First, you should expect solid monetization in the game, second - abilities which allow any player to score plenty of kills without much skill. In tf2 we have random crits, Hearthstone is all about rng and in Overwatch it would be some kinda of BIG DAMAGE auto-aim abilities (see Reaper ult).
It still could be fun tho, but don't try to evaluate this game as a new Quake or some classical mechanic-madness FPS. Not gonna happen. The days of pure aim are gone, to have a competitive scene your game should be fun and easy enough to entertain big audience, to keep money flow and twitch.tv numbers high.
FoV sliders are too confusing and challenging for new players.
TBH Plat did low damage in current invite season too, he is a bit out of shape.
Heavies are still sad.
1. I think we all pretty aware about top 6v6 players no need to post each of them name by name, hard to choose without details. Do we need more fun or tactical insight? Anyway, it could be nice to invite players from clock's failed team as some of them were out of a scene for a bit.
Clockwork, Blaze, Pure + Ruwin as he skipped this season.
2. If EU is allowed then Numlocked could be a good choice, can be some kind of goodby match.
3. From YouTube, Twitch broadcasters - STAR definitely a person to invite
4. Jumpers? QuBa, Guyyst, Afterglow, Aurora etc
5. Classical two: Plat & B4nny
6. Squid
PlatinumTo silence those assumptions...I will finish the season as pocket or stop playing. Seagull is committed to demo and we will be moving forward with that regardless of early performance.
So, Seagull is back to pocket job in another team?
Game logs links:

HRG vs infs (former CC) http://logs.tf/81167
but I still want to see an A/D map in rotation.
Lets check the list:
1. Dustbowl - hell no
2. Egypt - nope
3. Gorge - too plain and boring
4. Gravel Pit - gg no re
5. Junction - too crampy and choke.
6. Steel - I believe it was played before? at least in HL format. I think it is the only A/D map which has some potential.
As for SD map, I think it is cool, but very KOTH like. What about Arena mode?
For some reason I feel like EU scene is more consistent or am I wrong?
Anyway, we have this site, streams, YouTube channels - all stuff to spread TF2 into masses, and it is done very well and professional. The quality (and quantity) of TF2 support materials is really good. Is not it strange that we have dedicated "frame" but not a "picture"? Some actions to push players in right direction? Or the only thing we can do is to wait for Valve official support?
