TimTumTimTumI've downloaded multiple huds where they customized the part I would like to change, but I couldn't find the correct files.
How do I change this part of the main menu where it shows your party/lobby?Show Content
I basically would like to change everything on that bar, not only the party but also the global chat icon, the play/quit button and the bar itself.
Alright I've found the file by looking at some advice earlier in this thread to use vgui_drawtree. (so it was matchmakingdashboard.res).
There's one last thing I'm not able to edit however:

I've seen some huds where they were able to edit the bar underneath the steam avatar. Does anyone know where I can edit this bar? By default the color of the first partyslot looks like it's blue, but yeah as you can see on the screenshot it's white. If possible I would like to remove the entire bar.

cantiI can edit the reserve ammo font color in hudammoweapons.res, but when my ammo gets low and starts flashing red it reverts back to the original color, even after resupplying/getting more ammo. Any ideas?

HUDAnimations.txt find "event HudLowAmmoPulseStop" and something that animates AmmoInReserve, change the fgcolor in there and it should be fine.

edini switched the scoreboard.res files from collyhud over to arekkhud so i could use arekkhud with collyhud's scoreboard, but then i got this giant white box

how do i fix the top left white boxes? normally it's the map and the spectators
i assume it's something to do with font but i'm not certain, i'm pretty new when it comes to editing huds
Are you in dx8? There's an alt file in the HUD called scoreboard - DX8. It'll be a refract file/blue on the scoreboard that's messed up.

iodinehow do i set up a crosshair to flash when i hit players?
i have my crosshair vmt and vtf in the materials/vgui/replay/thumbnails folder, and I forgot how to implement them.
I know you have to change something in the Event Damaged Player, but I forgot what.
Also, my crosshair name is ow_hitmarker if that helps
You can't animate VTF crosshairs to flash when you hit someone, you can only do that with hud crosshairs.

gloperzwhat up, im building a pc and ran into a compatibility issue i don't understand on pcpartpicker. i want to use an nvme drive because apparently they're super fast but the website throws an error saying something about disabling pcie/sata slots. what does this even mean/do i even need to care about this?

Basically means that when you have the NVMe drive in two of the 6 SATA ports are gonna be disabled, so if you have loads of hard drives you'll need to rethink your storage.

As a sort of de-rust and practice/warmup for casting at i-series, I've been casting mostly every half decent looking game in ETF2L this season outside of prem. Doing camerawork at the same time as trying to talk has meant the actual casts themselves haven't been quite as good as it could be, but it's a work in progress, and they seem to have gone over well so far (minus the time I got a powercut mid-game and had to stop).
With that out the way, I'm gonna be casting the Div 1 semi finals tonight, between #BIGBOYSEASON and DEATH AND DESTRUCTION, aka Mak's team vs Rising's team (Rising isn't actually playing though, Nation is). The match page can be found here: http://etf2l.org/matches/76447/
I'll try to bump this thread with whatever game i'm gonna cast on the day, I post on the actual match pages but honestly, nobody really checks them anymore.

hexxcheck to see that radeon chill isn't on, I had something similar a while ago and turning it off fixed my problem
Yeah I said the wrong thing, I meant to say radeon chill. Though Enhanced Sync can fuck with things too, or at least has done for me.
