#6 Another Headphone Recommendation Thread in Hardware

ah nice amp dac stack, I envy you! Yeah I do take Z reviews with quite a bit of salt, I always watch like 10 different vids before buying :D If you remove the foam things the highs truly open up. Crazy how big impact it has. I will probably never go away from planar magnetics :D

#4 Another Headphone Recommendation Thread in Hardware

I bought myself the Monoprice Monolith M1060 and I'm super happy with them. Judging from what you say above I think they fit your sound profile. Unluckely you have to buy them from the US but they are well worth the price! Moving to planar magnetic was the best decision I ever made. From what ive heard the M1060 are supposed to be very similar to LCD2S but alot cheaper. What has to be said though is that the build quality isnt great on them. But I've brought them to 3 lans and had them for over a year and no issues so far.

If you are putting a lot of money towards headphones then buying a DAC/amp is a must and I can't stress it enough. It improves the sound alot because MOBO dacs are crappy generally. Do you have one currently? I'll leave a link below for the one I use and are super happy with.

https://www.amazon.com/Aune-X1S-384KHz-Headphone-Amplifier/dp/B014FBZCCA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1547124672&sr=8-1&keywords=aune+x1s NOTE: it requires usb 2.0 and will be very buggy if connected to USB 3.0

The review that made me buy the m1060: https://youtu.be/hrr-GAlHzLQ

Edit: I forgot to mention I modded mine slightly by removing the foam behind the "grill" on the outside so to speak which improved the sound quite a bit. If you would be intrested in that hit me up and I'll help you out.

#39 CSGO: Danger Zone in CS2 General Discussion

I think making it 18 players was the only way to go with small maps to keep the cs feel. 10 minute games feels too short for a BR. Also seems like everyone runs around with pistols and shotguns. Awps and rifles doesnt look like you can get them before the game is over. I'll have to try it to know more. Ive just watched a few vids and streams.

#18 Gaming chair recommendations for TALL boy in Hardware

I got myself the dxracer f series and i love it. I'm 183cm and when I removed the lower back pillow the chair got suuuper comfy. Best bet is to go to a store that has the chairs on display and available for testing. Thats what I did anyway

#5 Nat type strict in Q/A Help

Update: I called my isp again and this time around the guy seemed to be a bit more competent. He set up a public IP for me and now my NAT type is open!!

#4 Nat type strict in Q/A Help
ComangliaHow is your internet provided to you?
Who is your ISP?

If you go to the command prompt with your PC plugged into the walljack you have and type in "ipconfig" what do you see?

My isp is bahnhof. It is fiber, I have a walljack regular RJ45. I do however remember that my isp only gives out private ip's unless you order a public ip from them so that is what I will try next.

My ip with cable straight into the wall is starting with 100.127.x.x instead of 192.168.x.x which it is when I've got my router there.

#1 Nat type strict in Q/A Help

Hi,

l know this might be the wrong forum but I wanted to try my luck.

Basically my nat type is stuck on strict in Call of Duty Black Ops 4 so I can't join my friends lobbies.

I have the router Asus RT-AC68U AC1900 with the merlin firmware.
Current version: 384.7_2

What ive tried:
Port forwarding
Enable/disable UPnP
Enable/disable Nat Acceleration
Enable/disable QoS
Enable/disable DMZ to my static ip of my PC
Turned off router and windows firewall
Reset to factory settings
Upgrade to the Merlin firmware then reset to factory settings

Have I missed anything? Feel free to ask for any info and I'll try to provide.
