Created last season, SVIFT were looking like an interesting team with a roster full of experienced Prem players, but ones that often fell a bit short of success. It was left to see whether this squad was one that only looked good on paper or if they would manage to pull through, especially against more established teams. After playing under the SVIFT banner that season, they have now become a part of the Faint Gaming network and are now Faint Gaming EU, while picking up counou from the old Faint Gaming team, which has since disbanded.

The new Faint Gaming EU had a very close season, terrifying all their faint-hearted fans. While they were able to show their potential immediately in a draw with Ascent.EU, a defeat at the hands of mid-table rivals wer das liest ist doof left them grasping for points in the race for the last playoff spot. As the last week approached, their only option while under the SVIFT empire was to defeat the old Faint Gaming roster, an upset they managed to achieve in order to reach playoffs.

In the playoffs, the squad were not able to contest Se7en, and the original Faint Gaming avenged themselves by knocking them out of the lower bracket. However, this 4th place finish proved their potential, and with a stabilized roster, proved they will surely be eyeing the podium this season.

Best Premiership Debut of Season 31 counou shows his loyalty to the Faint family by rejoining this season, paired with veteran scout and avid pugger ixy. Speaking of veterans, Rising’s return in the top flight after more than 3 years out of regular season play seems to have gone well, and now he’s back for more.

PolygoN was told to “be there or be square” and he ended up being both, with team leader Smirre leading from the front, closely followed by the tenured Frenchie Ombrack. The Swede and the Frenchman have a mountain of experience, and the only time either of them have failed to reach Playoffs was back in Season 24, allowing them to help guide their new team through to the playoffs.

New season, new possibilities! Our last season was a shaky ride into the playoffs to say the least. We improved a lot during that time and the team atmosphere stayed good. Most of us decided to stay together except for alba who decided to step down to fight the challenges of real world, and other videogames..

We thought long and hard on who to pick and and decided to pick up counou who never drops below 185 hp during games, this was optimal for Ombrack as he needs the safe space. We are excited for this season and of course aim for a top finish, however LAN is our main goal and we wont be discouraged even if things go shaky!
