do you use your side buttons extensively? I'm sure mine only caved because I use it literally 200 times a night

this season I'm playin for HX in esea-IM and cevo-O. our pocket is billuster, who played on indust's team a few seasons ago back when they were in open and they went 15-1 or some shit idk. this will come into play later. anyways, I've been out of town pretty frequently in the past few weeks. the first time I didn't make scrim night was a thursday. during the day i had driven out with my grandparents to go on a boat tour around some old ships n shit to learn about them. the day we drove was a beautiful sunny day and the night we slept was awful, cold, and rainy.

the nightmare starts in my team's mumble. my name is in the mumble list, but it's like i'm not there. my team tries talking to me once but i can't respond (every single button on my mouse and keyboard break at once, wtf). they decide i've crashed randomly or something so they pull a ringer in. billy's like "don't worry folks, i've got the PERFECT RINGER".

i stare at mumble in horror as the great indust joins. we all load up the game and get ready to scrim (i think i'm in the stv or something, i honestly have no idea why i'm not just playing in my dream). i was using indust's edit of rayshud at this time and right then as we're joining indust says, "hang on, my game is fucked up, i have no hud". then, he's like "this fucker alosec took it, give me my hud back" and i see a hand reach up and over my monitor and take the hud off my screen (so he can use it??)

i am literally dying at this point, i don't know whether to start bawling or laughing my ass off at how ridiculous this dream is. both teams ready up as indust tells my team he is good to go. he plays the absolute perfect game outhealing the other team by more than 3x their numbers and getting 5+ frags. right after the game, billy asks indust if hes open to play with them this season, as its clear we could never go back to alosec medding. i am just in shock watching this unfold. it is then i realize indust is on the other side of my monitor, as wtf how could he reach his hand over and take my hud?? so i get up and walk around my desk to see indust sitting there IN A FUCKING BUNNY COSTUME, head to tail decked out in white fur. he turns his head away from his monitor and says "i guess you dont got these mad hops". as he starts to take off the bunny head i wake up from the sheer WTF of the moment.

upon arriving back to my home on sunday, i told my team about my freaky dream with indust carrying the shit out of them. they all kind of laugh it off until one of them says "yeah thats kinda weird though, we did scrim with indust and he was really good, we took meat market 4-1 on viaduct". i stared at my monitor in disbelief and fear for a good minute before blinking

i'd never told anyone the details of the dream until this post, and its probably the weirdest, least sense-making dream i've EVER had, and hopefully ever will have.

I had a deathadder and used my side button for mumble PTT and that caved in after about 6 months. Apparently this is a known issue with the mouse. definitely keeps me away from buying more DAs since I know it will just keep happening in the future

yep, I play a lot more TF2 than you I guess. I average about 40-50 hrs played every 2 weeks and personally I can tell a good difference between m1 and m2, and m4 and m5. I guess I'll just have to deal or buy a new mouse.

this is a bummer to hear, I was hoping I'd just got a faulty mouse. I don't think I'm man enough to replace my switches so I'll probably switch back to my g400 that I shelved back in August and keep using it until it gets mushy.

thanks for all the info guys, learned a lot about the flimsiness of mice and why they're so much cheaper than the keyboards I own. :(

r_worldlights 0 looks a lot like dx8 but makes your viewmodel funky

short hair, never had a problem with mine. put mine in the closet for a zowie after ~6 months however.

ok so

I've had my zowie ec2 evo since last august. it's a 10/10 mouse and I love the shape/size whatever. BUT, I'm starting to notice that my mouse1 is a little 'mushier'. it has less click and is harder to press and slower to depress than mouse2. the same can be said for mouse4 and mouse5, the key I use for mumble (mouse4) is noticeably quieter and less responsive. is this a known issue as the mouse ages? do all mice age like milk?
