x4 955 @ 3.8 GHz and 6850 @ 790 Mhz. I get 150-300, depending on the map and server, streaming 1024 x 600 at 2.5 Mbps.
So you guys can stop wanking over Intel upgrades now.
I think tviq edited bxhud so it looks like in your pic but then and then changed back
Your specs are capable of streaming fine on maxframes.
Your PC is better than mine and I stream fine. What resolution do you play at? Have you actually tried streaming before?
512 MB won't be enough (SRCDS uses about 600 MB for 12 slot). You're also probably sharing the four cores with everyone else on the server box so performance is unlikely to be consistent. It depends on the virtualization software. The virtualization systems where you get your own dedicated cores (KVM) are usually much more expensive.
Chris was particularly dismissive of Stabby's configs when he was active.
Cool that Process is getting the recognition that it deserves. A shame that the same is not being given to Snakewater.
I believe fullscreen mode halts your rendering when you alt-tab. This is quite annoying for your viewers if you are streaming, as they have to look at a static picture while you are dead and your teammates are talking (see MGEMike, kiler4fun).
The AD700s do have bass, but you need a decent amp. Which I guess doesn't apply here.
NusemanI'm sorry I don't quite understand. Is this just an overlay for streaming or can my in-game overlay look like the one on the broder stream?
I think the theme/style thing replaces the icon in the real overlay too. Just change the text to size 24 Arial if it isn't already.
