every single pug they give you one server, let you play around on it for 5 mins, and then reassigns to another server for no reason
our pug took over 10 minutes for the server to initially pop up, then did this
now people have to get subbed because they're gonna be late for scrims
i really don't comprehend what magic sorcery is at work to make it this slow but its horrible please fix @erynn @tsc

_brianYou can also make an alias that connects you to your server and sets your rcon password so you just have to type the alias.
alias serveralias "connect *serverip:port*; password *serverpw*; rcon_address *serverip:port*; rcon_password *rconpw*"
Just put that in your autoexec and you just type serveralias or whatever you name it in your console to connect and set your rcon password.
if you type "rcon changelevel *map*"on stream it will suggest in the dropdown rcon_password *rconpass* so watch out for that
the workaround is to type changelevel cp_snakewater_final1 and then go back and insert rcon before it (no suggestions)
or u can make aliases:
alias snake "rcon changelevel cp_snakewater_final1" edit: the problem with the list below is if you type "rcon ..." on stream it will pop up a suggested list revealing the password so you should really make the aliases include rcon changelevel instead of just changelevel

i tried to do the windows upgrade from windows 8.1 to 10 a few days ago and it was such a headache, ended up giving up because it kept giving errors and I had to do so many manual commands messing with the partitions and stuff. So I'm basically in the same boat as zesty, if I backup my appdata and important files on one of my other drives can I easily just clean install windows 10? I read that you need a windows key and the one I currently have for windows 8.1 may or may not work. Definitely don't care enough to shell out $140 to do something that should be free and buy a new license or whatever.
GipsArmEvent opens on Wednesday at 14:00 and closes Sunday morning. The tournaments run Thursday through Saturday, starting at 10:00 on Thursday and Friday, start time on Saturday would be there abouts, maybe a bit later.
Copenhagen Games has been on the Easter weekend for the last 10 years, I doubt we can get them to change that around.

What days is the tournament actually occurring? The article definitely needs to be updated to clear this up, cause it says that the tournament is only until the 11th (Saturday). If it actually does happen on Thursday or Friday that's pretty awful for college students missing class and especially flying in from the us and having to go early and miss more.
Unfortunately don't think any NA teams will end up going anyways cause it's right after RGL LAN and also right at the end of the semester when things start to pick up (for me it's when all the big end of semester projects usually happen). As much as I want to go and people say this could replace iseries as the main international TF2 event, it's not looking likely this year at least. Insomnia is always in August when people are off from school and is a common month for vacations anyways.
Easter weekend especially seems like pretty poor timing for any one off event to occur, not to mention it being a regular yearly thing. Maybe it's not as big a thing in Europe but my family usually gets together and it's one of the few times a year i can see some of my relatives. Early January for example (rewind/bts) is also better because most people are off for winter break. Even though it doesn't have a real prize pool, RGB is in June when the school year is finished too. Maybe it'd be possible to swap around the timing of these events next year (probably not but I can hope)
