SneakyPolarBearRoamer spawns spy and disguises as medic, takes out sapper, and hits B. Tells you what medigun they are using. If you are fast, you can reach mid at the normal time (one medibeam length in front of your medic).

Your team runs kritz to mid regardless of their medigun.

If they QF, then you don't go to mid and just defend 2nd/yard. Get a pick and then just kritz into them or just wait for them to push you and kritz then.

If they run uber or kritz, go to mid and fight normally just like any other mid. If they are on uber obviously play with your demo passively and hope to get kritz fast and win mid with that. If they are on kritz its pretty much even, not much strategy you can have.

We did this in our match against pot's team and won two rounds in a row before they switched back to uber. You just can't win mids against an equal team if they run the QF and you don't.

Med can spawn with quickfix and then on the cabinet tap change to medigun

hrg has the most lan experience. too many people basing performance off of the showmatch.

it's like when LG got bodied over and over in the showmatches before i46 then showed up to lan and didn't drop a match except to mixup

Why wasn't it banned until further evaluation?
Technically it didn't break the rules, which automatically banned new weapons but not established weapons that were changed midseason.

Because it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it won't.

I might be wrong but i thought that one of the reasons Main exists in CS is so that recycled Invite players could start in IM/Main instead of Open? Or is that just wrong?

the last time one of these so called sandbag teams actually moneyed in open was dtp and chill to good in season 11 and the only other time a sandbag team won was season 9 with teambad v2. The only other "sandbag" teams that moneyed was king's crew also in season 9. these four teams were also all onclassing. new teams are going to get bodied basically no matter what unless they're filled with experienced players and if your team has been together for 3+ seasons and are still struggling to break into the top tier of open, then you've probably hit your plateau as a team

Daggerof course ESEA would make you play and pay for 3 seasons before your team can actually play invite. I think the option of making a new team directly to IM should be a thing now that Main is here.

you can skip im if you win open. or at least you could in 1.6
