#2 Looking at buying a new mouse in Hardware

I know that you think that a cord will drag your mouse around and decrease your accuracy, but you'll find that the cord is barely heavy enough to feel and definitely not heavy enough to impede mouse movement. Plus the lower latency is pretty essential if you ever plan on playing a hitscan class.

For your price range, i'd recommend a Logitech G400s, a very good mouse with very few issues and a decent RMA policy if any arise. It also has a near-perfect optical sensor and is one of the cheaper mice to do so.

As a side note, DPI doesn't mean shit other than simply raw sensitivity. It doesn't control really anything other than onscreen sensitivity. Good mice don't necessarily have higher or lower DPI, it's really just sensitivity and nothing more.

#95 Invisible Players Bug in TF2 General Discussion

This happens to a scout on my team almost every scrim, and it used to happen to me before i switched gfx configs, which fixed it kinda.

I haven't had it happen during a match but it's really disruptive and discouraging.

#14 deathadder optimal settings in TF2 General Discussion

DPI affects only how many pixels the mouse moves onscreen when you move it a certain distance, virtually nothing more. 1k hz polling rate should be fine, as well as no accel.

#15 Evaluating good play from stats/logs in TF2 General Discussion
synchrosky_You can get 400 dpm, a 3KAD, and lose by just baiting your team over and over again and somehow people will still call you good.I'd love to see an example of this; you'd be really hard pressed to find one. Even if this mystery player somehow did manage to bait every single player on their team, got the finishing damage on every kill, and got away with a sliver of health to boost their KD, they'd still have to hit an incredible number of shots to deal that much damage.

harbleu on demo?
edit: except he didnt really get away very often on sunshine

DirectX8 makes the rockets look cleaner compared to DX9 but I don't believe there's a specific command.

#2 Cant use custom crosshairs in Matches? in Q/A Help

i'm fairly sure that external crosshairs don't pass through sv_pure 2, so you need to go on a server with sv_pure 0 or 1 to load them then you should be fine.

#4 Settings won't save in Q/A Help

you should always remove -dxlevel in your launch options after the first launch, otherwise it does as gek says unless you have a config that changes it.

#2 Extracting demo information or converting to video in TF2 General Discussion

To create a video from an STV file you'd most likely have to sit in the stv manually and record it with fraps/dxtory or something. And no, demos literally only record the POV of a player and you can't really get any more data than you could just watching it.
